Fem Hawke:"...well.....ok" *smiles and follows him*

You got it sort of right. Hawke saved the city from the Qunari, then threw all Thedas into chaos as all the Circle of Magi's rebelled. So you can't really compare the two.

So while our Warden only played a role that only affected Fereldan. Our Champion played a role that trigger events that affect whole of Thedas, including Fereldan.

The goal of the mages is to obtain freedom, the goal of the darkspawn was to destroy Fereldan and spread the blight to all of Thedas.

After DA2 the world is in pretty bad shape I'd admit, but the blight was and will always be the greater threat.

EDIT - Sorry for double post.

Err... Hawke didn't trigger anything. If anything, Anders triggered the Mage/Templar thing and the Arishok triggered the whole "Qunari breaks the Llomerryn Accord" thing. Hawke was a part of these events at it's core, yes. But he didn't trigger anything.

QFT.

The Warden got things done.

Hawke just happened to be around while other people got things done and did her best to survive.

And profit. :bandit:

In a one on one fight, with equally leveled gear & the same class. Hawke, he just seems to want it more.

While dreaming , I clearly saw Hawke and the Warden (see my avatar) in a dark, violet cave (aka. the Nothing). Coming together to the center, the Hero of Ferelden shows his kid to get back to his momma. Then he speaks. Hawke entered the eluvian in order to return him back to surface, to save the world. Once again:

T.C.o.K: Heh, what are the odds that I will find you here..... COUSIN

T.H.o.F: I knew the day will come that I have to bargain again with the outsides of this maker-forsaken world..

T.C.o.K: Tell me... what have you done so you had to askape Thedas?

T.H.o.F: Love (AND ALIMENTS , HEHE)....

T.C.o.K: I want you to return. The people of Ferelden...the Orlesians, even the damn Tavinters want your help!

You can't just stay in this world for nothing. You have to return...with me.
T.H.o.F: I've been thinking ... I have been fighting every evil crature that is known by earthly beings. For a mage , raised beyond any possible connection to the outside, I,suddenly, have raised to the ranks of the Wardens. I've met many interesting people, and female golams, who would follow me into the deepest aspects of life, many followed me to death...and beyond. You don't the feeling of slaying the Archdemon, which was a neccesarity protracted to me from higher forces. I even met a woman, giving me the feeling, she will allways let me be remembered in her memory, the mother of my child,my only love.... and a terrible cook.

T.C.o.K: Ehm.... that's all very interesting... and disturbing, but I still don't understand the reason of you being here. I thought you were dead, in deed, we all thought so. A week befor, a young chantry-girl named ..

T.H.o.F: Leliana.Yes, she was also a love interest but, Morrigan, offered me a sacred action to save my life, so she left willingly to find me the day I won't have any feelings for that ****.

T.C.o.K: You know even her? Well, than I should not mention the others who spoke extremly highly of you. Bodahn, Anders...Nathaniel even Isabella. I want you to answer me ! Your speeking in wierd languages!

T.H.o.F: You want to know if I will come with you ? Ha,ha,ha! The real reason for being here I already told you. Many other factors affecting me AND you, also have a role in this play. *TO SON* : Lad, go study what I thought you about Infernos. I have matter to discuss! * I will not go. I have unfinished business here, as you may see...

T.C.o.K: So the boy is the key! You can take him with you !

T.H.o.F: No, I can not. Time is a relative thing, which doesn't exist here. BUT I NEED TIME. I won't come with you... Hawke.

T.C.o.K: You are fooling me, right, cousin ! Are you so arrogant that you won't use your powers for something important..something good ! Many, very many, need you! So do your friends and family!

T.H.o.F: What! I've done more than you ever will! I had to fight thousands of darkspawn, the Archdemon, the Mother, source of the Darkspawn activities, giant golems, reborn dragons and with The Witch of The Wilds herself ! I've done my part, so I will not leave! So , go before I kick you out of this world... legibly!

T.C.o.K: YOU MUST!!! T.H.o.F: NO - I - DON'T! (spells Arcane push , which throws Hawke to the entree of the Nothing) T.C.o.K: (feels very dizzy)... Ehh.... If you don't , I will make you do it!

T.H.o.F: So we'll see--- !

The Warden hands down. Aedan Cousland/Amell...... my Warden was born a mage but raised as a warrior in my book. Ran the noble background story as a mage. Tryed to depict him as much as possible to the Warden in the Sacred Ashes vid. So I made him a monster tank..... and healz (just cause he looks better than Wynne when doing it........... making him a paladin by WOW standards) just call him a spirit arcane warrior healer battle gaurdian champion. Oh yeah, with mana clash. And as for the good sir Hawke...... well he's dps..... making him a force blood reaver berserker shadow assasin???.... mage. BOOM mana clash. Bottem line, the Warden.

Also because DA:O was a better game...... :)

Im sure Sheperd knows a good deal about hand to hand combat, but I doubt he could stand up to a fully armed T.C.O.K or T.H.O.F. without his arsanal of futuristic weapons.

Oh no doubt he couldn't stand against them considering magic and biotic powers are different as well, but you gotta admit Shepard having a fist fight with the Shadow Broker was pure badass and that dude was a tank haha

Yes, I believe that just the newcomers like TCoK better, cause they didn't even play Dragon Age Origins, which, TO BE FRANK BioWare, was a far better game.
... Sh** , I would LOVE to see my Warden in another DLC . For this one I could kill a guy....

MY WARDEN wins over developer's hawke . End of story :P
My warden has almost every trick in the dragonage book. If he is a mage, he can paralyze, burn hawke's whole party in a fire storm or freeze them in blizzard. The area of spells alone in DA:Origins are much more powerfull than anything DA2 has to offer.
My Warrior Warden can cut Hawke warrior with two swords at a time :P

Plus he is alot more skill full, can create potions, runes etc etc on the fly which Hawke cant, poor Hawke will have to run away to nearest store to order them :P

You don't think a Blight threatens ALL of Thedas?

threatens sure. but it never left fereldan. therefore no one else cared.

Whoa hang on a sec - let's not forget the all important fact that Hawke actually, no matter how badly Bioware want you to believe, did NOT start the Mage Templar conflict at all.

In fact, Hawke did almost nothing which contributed to this conflict whatsoever.

If you were going to point the finger at one individual for starting the conflict (which is ridiculous in of itself, there are hundreds of factors contributing) it would without any doubt be Anders.

Hawke was really just a git who ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time, had to pick a side, and his/her actions after picking a side made no difference or impact whatsoever.

I think a good way to tell whether or not someone was important would be to remove them from existence.

If you remove Hawke from existence hardly anything would change in the overall story the Quanari would still break the treaty and Anders would start the mage - templar war.

If you remove the Warden from existence (like the Darkspawn Chronicles) it leads to the fall of Ferelden and possibly all of Thedas depending on whether or not the other non-Fereldanian (sp?) Grey Wardens could stop the Archdemon considering the Warden raised an army to fight it.

^ Exactly. Take Hawke entirely out of the picture - and what happens? More or less exactly the same thing. Like I said, a git who just ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time.
