I've read a bit of wiki and official site as related to history of the game and DA:O universe, and I was blown away. Some of the things there sound really epic, and I would love to have them further explored in the story of the game. Some things which I loved:

1. Witch of the Wilds - legendary witch, duh

2. Golden City/Black City - the city of the Maker, visible from every place in the Fade - I would LOVE to be able to visit it

3. First Magi - I'm talking about the first Magi, the original ones that managed to get into the Golden City; if the legends are true and they became the first Darkspawn I would love to interact with at least one of them, it's obvious they are extremely powerful creatures

4. Paragons - a way for beggar dwarf to become equal to a King, I hope the story of Branka and Paragons will be detailed

5. Queen Anora - wiki makes it that she's very intelligent and powerful, running the country instead of her weak husband; I hope we will be able to meet her and assist her

6. Celene I - game equivalent to Catherine the Great, if she turned out to be a powerful magic user = OVERKILL; don't care friend of foe

What are the themes you would like to see? Part of what made Planescape:Torment special and legendary were those epic moments: Lady of Pain, stories of the Nameless One as captain, mage, king; the Golem in the middle of Sigil, Fortress of Regrets, Ravel's Labyrinth. I never got that feeling of "omfg, this is big" after that, now DA:O really has the chance to do it for me. Hope Bioware won't blow it.

I'm so glad to hear you like the community wiki. Lucy and I have worked on it for several years now, and we have a team of very dedicated and talented people trying to gather lore.

What would I like to see? Something new. One of the things I've discovered is that the lore in Thedas is both broad and deep. For all the cool things we know now, there's a ton of lore out there that we know nothing about. It excites me that despite spending five years on the forum harassing the developers every chance I get, I realize I still don't know even half of the setting. I experience a sort of frothy delight at the idea of all I'm going to learn about during the game itself.*

If there were any one subject I'd say I want to know more about it would be the languages. I'm a language nerd, and the four languages they created for the game all sound very interesting to me.

*That sounds so wrong.
