 Absolutely NOT.

This game is in no way a worthy successor of the brilliance that was Origins. I do not want to encourage Bioware any further in this sissified direction.

Technology in a game that was already dated before it was released is brilliant? You mean to tell me, it's brilliant that between 2005 and 2009 they couldn't figure out how to make the main character talk, so they just made him or her stand around with their thumb up their ass hoping the blank look on their face would have an impact on the conversation?

I would after I heard some information on it.

I never pre-order any game until I get a few details about the game.

I agree with Exzander1.  I pre-order games based on what I hear about them, not based on past games.  If that were the case ME2 would have me hiding my money from Bioware.

That said.  I enjoyed DA2.  To each his own.

Wow, amazing comeback to what I said!
It's funny you quote from DA:O though considering my post. But the irony of that is too over your head.
And considering how most people agree with what I'm saying, it's double fail to you.

You say something against someone and he goes berserk for nothing.

Sometimes I even wonder why I come back to this forum...

I really did like a silent Hero more then a Hero who never says what i want with a terrible Voice and a Dialog Wheel.
It has nothing to do with Technology. There is a difference between what you CAN do and what you SHOULD do.

Its kinda funny you say DA:O was dated pre release already, wile DA2 also runs on 100000 Years old Consoles :)

Preorder? No. I'd rather borrow a friend's and see what its like first before buying it.

It would depend on many factors, but BW did lose a lot of brownie points by rushing DA2.

I'm definitely buying Dragon Age 3 if it is released. I know many people have qualms with DA2, but I really am enjoying it. I have played through Origins numerous times, and have to say DA2 did not disappoint me.
I love how much harder the decisions are. In DA:O you were either a complete ass or a saint. (Don't get me wrong the dialogue was excellent, as to be expected from a Bioware game)
In DA2 I feel as if I am being torn between two sides that have equally valid points.
I love the rivalry and friend system, and I love the new combat system.
I have faith that DA3 will only get better. As long as Bioware stays true to its vision, I know it will be a great and absorbing sequel.

Absolutely, I will pre-order it, probably even the Collectors Edition. Then again, I'm one of those people who like ME, loved DAO and am open-minded enough to understand that DAO and DAII are two different games so I don't bother crying about how the 2nd one isn't a reproduction of the first in a different location.

It seems most people who are complaining simply can't grasp the possibility that two different games are.... different.

For me, it's not so much that.  I loved DA2, I just felt that. like Origins, I should have rented it instead of buying it because for me 5-6 playthroughs doesnt justify "buying" a game.  For me, it's a lack of replayability.  In DA2, I plan on having a total of 5 playthroughs and thats it, done.  Mage, Sword and Board Warrior, 2h Warrior, DW Rogue, Archer Rogue.  Because Im just honestly, not interested in the future DLC unless they release an "Ultimate Edition" like they did with Origins.  And the only reason we bought the UE, was because we thought that, like ME, more of our choices would carry over than what they did.  Had I known then, what I do now, we probably would have not even bought the UE and just went with the Pre-Built History because 90% of the decisions you made in Origins, have little to no impact on DA2.  Now given, they might in DA3, but probably not enough that you will miss anything "important" and/or miss too much.

Edit: The ONLY way I'd pre-order DA3 is if it was released before hand that there was going to be a NG+ Option.  And since there wasnt one in Origins or DA2, the liklihood of that happening, is LESS than 0 lol.

Yes, but I hope EA does not rush DA3 out, as much as I loved DA2, it would have been much better if it had more dev time.

No. Not because the game was disappointing (it was), but because it was unplayable on my PC until a solution/workaround was found on the forums the next day, and then a patch released after a week.

Of the last 5 PC games I've purchased, only 3 were even playable day one, and another had significant bugs that made gameplay frustrating. This is a downward trend, and yes, some of it has to do with the wider range of PCs out there today compared to a few years ago. But mostly it's because developers have cut corners (staff decrease, quality testing, increased release rates).

I'll wait a few weeks or a month, now. BioWare was one of the few companies I trusted, but even they let me down. Lesson learned.

Due to this massive flop in my opinion i wll never buy an bioware product again.  If this is what i can expect from them why sould they expect any money from me.

You realize this isn't a new thing for PC gaming, if anything games run better now adays because since they are made for consoles as well they can be run on a much wider range of pcs.

i would like to say yes because i have never enjoyed a game more. it really depends on how soon bioware fixes the bugs in this game. if they wait much longer it will be very hard to convince me to do so.
