No. I'll be skipping all the pre-release marketing bull**** and waiting to see the reviews. Then, I'll decide if I've forgiven Bioware and maybe buy it.

And if Mike Laidlaw is the sole lead designer again, I'll probably skip it regardless of good reviews.

I never pre-order. I might consider pre-ordering an MMORPG, but a single-player game isn't going anywhere. I can enjoy it just as well at release, 6 months later... or a year or two later. Besides, most bonuses I've seen for pre-ordering are broken and eliminate the fun of finding items in-game.

That said, if I'm really looking forward to a game, I do buy it shortly after it comes out, as I did for DA2. Now I regret paying $50 for a shell of a game. If I get DA3 it'll be for a bargain price some time after its release.

No, after spending what I consider too much money on a game with no ending that in no way resembled it's predecessor, I will not pre-order another Bio Ware game. In fact I was going to pre-order Mass Effect 3, but after DA:2, I'll wait for the reviews.

Hopefully the Witcher:2 will wipe the bad memories away.

No, and unfortunately this seems to be a growing trend, several game developers have recently earned my ire for releasing less than stellar games/rushed games that are buggy or just below their standard of work.

Of course, if they take it through a proper development cycle (longer than DA2...) I may have forgotten about it by then.

As a side note, I will still be ordering Mass Effect 3, different teams within Bioware,  and I've been a fan of what the ME teams have delivered.

Nope, the Dragon Age franchise is most definitely on the.........wait for the Game of the Year edition 19.95 Steam super daily special sale.

I'll likely wait on reviews for ME3 as well. Not so much that I expect it to suck, just that after DA2 Bioware went from a sure bet day one purchase, to wait and see.

Anyone who wouldn't is a true fan.
I preordered both DAO and DA2.

Just how it it. True fans will support, buy, and preorder DA.
There will always be haters, but the true fans will still be around.

So, if they made a Dragon Age: Mario Brothers, you'd still buy it? Yes, there are haters taht post what they do just for the sake of the definition. But for the most part, those who disliked DA2 had very good reasons. If simply slapping a name on a game gets you to buy it on its second iteration because the first was good, then so be it. It doesn't make the majority of those who found it unappealing, haters.

yea its ok, but they dont need to keep making extra threads about it. I pretty sure there threads that they could post on. why keep repeating the samething went it not going to change anything

I never pre-order but I do buy the games when they come out (why pre-order!? it's not like you can't buy the game otherwise...) and I'll buy DA3. All the "ooh, recycled areas" and "it's too easy" is rubbish. No one can dislike a game this much. Even games like Crysis you play them for a couple of hours until you quit. Quiting because of rubbish homemade criticism is called prejudice, not objective criticism.

Stop worrying about how many threads of this type are created. Does it occur to you that maybe when someone creates a similar thread that one wasn't visible enougn to add their thoughts. Or, they just wanted to start one for their own reeasons. Let it go, as we have enough forum sheriffs as it is.

I always wait. Preordering is something I haven't done since 2006 when a certain not bioware related title made it very clear, its not a wise decision to buy a surprise package.

Although DAII certainly isn't the game for me, I wait and see how Bioware develops. If DAIII looks promising, I'll buy. If it is more of button awsome, I won't.

The problem with this game is it doesn't have a collectors version for a reason. They wanted to lock people in by offering them the best content. In the game we got the content but man......
