After playing DA2, would you preorder DA3?

No, seriously, it depends on their response time with patches, mainly Act 3 quest bugs and the quality of DLC. I like DA2, but I don't feel satisfied enough with the game to go blind into DA3, maybe that'll change once the game is "complete"!

Combat sucks compared to DA:O, if you don't like origins then go play every other hack and slash "RPG." And leave classics alone.
"Combat in DAO was so slow and repetitive."
And combat in DA2 was stupidfast and repetitive to near unbelief. On anything but nightmare all a mage has to do is cast Gravitic Ring, Pull of the Abyss, walking bomb, and kill target, and everything nearby, with walking bomb. And use firestrom to kill anything left. Even works on nightmare, except the firestorm part as the rooms are so crowded most of the time you will firestorm yourself.
Also it's only fast if your not a mage or rogue that is getting constantly knocked back to death.
Yep your right, DA2's combat is so much better!!!!111
To keep on topic, no chance I will preorder if it's more of DA2 after starting playing DA:O again.

Not a chance. This was my first, and last, pre-order.
My situation exactly. A shame really, considering how addictive Origins was...

A simple poll.
For me, I preordered DA2 on Steam, and now I regret my decision. If I had known the truth I would have waited till the price dropped on Steam, as it was not worth 60 USD.
When DA3 comes out, I will definitely not be preordering. Instead I will wait for the metacritic reviews, because my faith in Bioware has disappeared, and I will no longer blindly entrust my money to them.
I paid £45 or $60 and whilst dissapointed with some of the features being removed, got over 40hours of play so can hardly be dissapointed in terms of value for money. Once I got over Origins, and began a second playthru accepting it for what it was, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Re-use of areas being my only problem.
I will pre-order any BW title, because as I have said in another thread, even with the faults, BW games are in a league of their own!

Though I am a sucker for pre-order bonuses so they could still maybe pull me in that way unfortunately.

I know I'll end up preorder ME3 and DA3 though, they sell for the same price anyway and I get extras, so why not? I know I'll end up getting them anyway. I NEVER leave a series unfinished. That being said, I do hope ME3 and DA3 are HUGE improvements as opposed to this, like I said, it certainly was not worth what I paid for.

Really what was taken out was some of the more time wasting parts of the game. I played Origins through several times. And unless you really really enjoyed running around for elf-root and mushrooms.... the "crafting" was terrible, and the Rune system in Awakening was awful.
Maybe people really liked pausing the game every round of talent activations to set up the player and the companions again for another epic combo. Personally, I'm annoyed that the companions don't drink a health potion when their health is were I pre-set it, right on que. To me, having to take control of every move of my character and my companions every fight totally takes me out of the game and back in my computer chair, for this a story driving game, especially.

Wow, amazing comeback to what I said!
It's funny you quote from DA:O though considering my post. But the irony of that is too over your head.
And considering how most people agree with what I'm saying, it's double fail to you.

You could also not be more of a an fool. It's hilarious you don't see the irony of using a quote from DA:O to attack my post saying how much DA:O is better then DA2.
