Hi All
This has probably been answered, but couldn't find much. Basically, I'm wondering what happens as a result of romancing each of the companions in DA2. I know that Merril's armour gets a makeover, but what about the others? Are there any benefits outside of the romance achievement?

Do you get anything in the way of upgrades for romancing your companions?

I think it's only cosmetic in the armour. You do get bonuses for either rivalry or friendship in the abilities webs. Other than that I do not think so.

Thanks Silver. I guessed as much. It's a relief, actually. I didn't romance Isabela, or any of the others, before Merrill so I was hoping to avoiding having to load a pre-romance save just to get armour bonuses! All the best, Z

Isa FTW =D haven't tried any of the others, but i absolutely love the romance progression with her. The way she progresses socially.

Hi Stensig - yeah I've heard that Isabela sort of 'grows' as the game progresses if you romance her. Maybe I'll do that on playthrough 2... Cheers, Z
