This encounter mysteriously does not occur in my game, even after seeing the cut scene, no matter what happens. Is there some way to force it to happen, or port to the encounter? Something? (Playing the PC version, so debugmode IS an option!) I really do not want to go back all the way to the tower... Nothing kills a game like having to repeat half of it over and over because of bugs.
Zevran encounter doesn't happen.

Did you go to the camp? He appeared at the road to wardens keep, after I finished the tower and a made a start at the forest.

I think it should happen when you've travelled twice after finishing Redcliffe Castle

... You guys don't under stand "no matter what" do you? I've been everywhere short of the landsmeet (and the bracilian forests quests) and he will not encounter. I need a workaround to force the encounter.

i have one game where it hasn't happened also. actually i stopped playing that game right after i got the cut scene... but it took an unusually long amount of time for the cut scene to come up.
i think it's a random encounter... you just have to keep traveling and wait!

The requirements for getting Zevran as stated in the guide are that you meet him at a random encounter after having finished at least one major world plot.

... Yes, I know this, you get the cutscene immediately after completing such a plot, and then the encounter has been unlocked and should occur shortly in your travels. In this game, it has not, and will not occur, which is why I'm asking for a way to fix this bug -.-

.... If I had done ANYTHING at all, I'd of stated it. The encounter simply is glitched.
If anyone cares though, I believe it has something to do with the forger/scammer encounter that's also triggered to happen at the same time. I reloaded it, and if I had that encounter before zevran, zevran's encounter wouldn't happen, while otherwise it happened immediately.
