Just to clarify, I'm not asking for a PC mod that runs on Xbox as it's higly unlikely due to sercurity coding.
You can however modify the save game file via Usbxtaf and modio.
On Elder Scrolls for Xbox some of us had fun playing as a Dremora and having custom weapons on the console versions.
So my question is, has anyone done anything of interest to with their save game?
Any useful Xbox mods?

Yer its possible but you will be breaking xboxes ToS and therefore if caught your GT could get banned, or you console banned. That said if you are and offline gamer there will be nothing they can do. If you are going to Mod DA2 on your xbox you'll need:
- MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SAVE (for safety)
- Memory Stick
- Modio to extract save to desktop
- Horizon to extract savegame.das file and savegame.das.x from original save
- Dragon Age II save editor, and relative texts documents to find items you want
- Dragon Age II resigner, to reassociate the edited savegame.das file with original savegame.das.x file
- Reopen orginal save in Horizon, click content tab, the saves, right click on savegame.das replace wih the new savegame.das, then repeat with savegame.das.x file.
- Save, Rehash and Resign. Close Horizon. Open Modio, open file, rehash, resign and then save to USB file.
- Don't worry about the files size it will now show up about the sixth of the size of the original
Most of the files are here
Here are the dragon age 2 editor and texts files
I take no credit for the modding tools, this technique also works on the PS3. All you have to do is place the file from your PS3 onto a USB, the drag it into Horizon to extract the savegame.das and savegame.das.x
Also there is a new version of the firstblight editor avaliable, which allows you to edit stats of party members, and editing item effects.

You can edit lots of things using GFF v4.0 once you extract your save. You can:
- add any item
- modify items (a lil more complicated than in First Blight)
- swap character models
- swap character faces
- swap item models (also changes item name, but retains original stats)
BTW, Horizon is unnecessary. Modio can exact the savegame.das files. Just open up the save & click on contents to see the files.

I am the same person that you linked to and I have made a very similiar tutorial on this site too with a bit more information
You can find it here
Edit-
I edited the off-site tutorial to have the same information.
For friendship/rivalry and effect editing you can use a program called FirstBlight by CyberSam he posted it on 360haven.com (requires free registration)
