Congrats on a well played game

heres what I wanted to ask. being a console player I wanted to know your feelings on the way the console game looked and felt

Thank you!

Well actually, I didn't go on the console one alot myself, although I did dabble with it a little bit. It's definitely no where near as tactical as the PC version, you can't zoom out to look from above, for example. It's a quite well made control system, I'm just far too used to the PC controls to do the console controls so well!
Myself, I do not like it, though many people were using the console controls well enough and were having little trouble with it. They seem to have done a good job at porting it.
The graphics were perhaps slightly toned down, just some textures and lighting effects.

What stats are most important for a tank? Because as far as I know Hungarys main char was a dps, and they put points mostly on strength. But some talents in shield+weapon tree require strenght, some dexterity. And probably constitution is also important for a tank.

Forgive me if these questions have been asked, bit I did not read the entire thread.

1)  How useful is the Rogue's lockpicking skill? Is the loot recieved via locking a substantial increase compared to loot dropped from slain enemies?

2)  I was originally planning to bring 2 warriors and 2 mages, but i'm worried I'll end up missing loot/unlockables by not bringing a rogue. To put the question simply, can a single sword/shield warrior hold his own in combat without needing a second warrior/dog taking over when the going gets tough?

3)  What is you're recommendation for the most "effective" party?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

I was planning my "balanced" party and it occurred to me that the only reason I wanted to bring a rogue along was to open locks, which isn't a very good reason at all.

Do you think it would be feasible to leave the rogues at camp, then return to a dungeon/area with one of them after clearing it out to open all the chests, or do dungeons/areas "lock" after you've gone through them?

By the way, thanks for doing this for us!

Just wanted to thank you for answering all these questions.

Very disappointed to find out the console versions aren't as good graphically as the PC version. :(

Well, there aren't many multiplatform games that are better (graphically) on console vs a PC. Actually none spring to mind. So this isn't exactly a suprise.

And thank you to the TS for sharing stuff.

If I remember right Team BioWares main character was a rogue, and they were doing pretty good. I think you just need some time to experiment with their talents and stuff and you will find out that its a strong dps class with the right tactics.

I was wondering, how much does your origin story affect the main story after you have completed it? For example, if you play as a city elf, will people comment on your origin when you meet them? Will they treat you like a city elf or as a grey warden?

Im sorry if this question has been asked:)
