Loaded the game, loaded the patch, ready to play.

But I get the "AWC.dll load failed" exe loader error.

The page here recommends installing the game under a different Windows profile, with Admin access. But the profile I'm using already has Admin access.

That being said, I went ahead and uninstalled, installed under the new profile, named "DA2 ERROR!" This time, it asked me for a registration check, which it hadn't done before. I hit yes, I assume it sent out some info... Then it immediately popped up the "AWC.dll load failed" error again!

What does it all mean? ... Sigh..

What is your version f XP--- what service pack are you patched to? And I assume it's not 64-bit, right?
