I just bought NWN Diamond from gog.com and I'm totally new to this. Figured I'd give a PW a try, downloaded the haks and patched everything accordingly. But when I click to join an internet game, I get a window that says "Gamespy disconnected. Please try again" immedietly, every time. Uh, what do I do? I feel so silly asking but I really don't know =)

I am personally unfamiliar with how GoG handles CD-keys but from what I've read, the keys you are furnished with the original GoG installation need to be replaced by others to play on-line.  You need to request those keys from GoG. I also recommend perusing their forums for discussions pertaining to on-line problems.

As far as the Gamespy connection goes, generally speaking, you need to wait a certain amount of time before your accouint can be reset.  Not sure if this applies to your particular situation, though.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried to connect/play on any PW that requires only the vanilla version of NWN?

The CD-key issue hadn't come up yet. That pops up after the Gamespy check, and apparently it says quite frankly that your cd key isn't valid.

Though, I got it working now. Know what I did? I purchased NWN2 off Steam, logged in to Gamespy with that, then I logged in again in NWN1 and suddenly everything works perfectly. No idea how that happened, but now it works ^^;
