What about Shard of the Fallen? I can't afford it, but seen it in the Emporium
I checked the DLC emporium again today. And I have not seen this dagger? Unless the stock upgrades by ACTS like the other merchant inventories do.

I'm guessing that for the tutorial bit as the Champion, they just gave you Finesse twice.

Maker's Kiss from black emporium goes with it decently. But it's a weak weapon
Are you sure? It does spirit damage which ignores armor and halves damage and magic resistance on the target. So, unless you are playing on nightmare it does more damage than a physical weapon in a lot of circumstances. On NM it should be far more effective except against Spirit Immune opponents.
I don't know who the game engine applies spirit damage through the ability system (like assainate, twin fangs) however.

Also, there is a black one sold by a guy in Lowtown, called Coterie Shiv.
Strangely the best looking shiv in the game.

32 physical (52 per sec)
X = Rune slot
+3% critical chance
5% chance to regenerate 5% health
Reqyires a 34 dexterity
I don't know what it looks like however because I can't afford it

My appologies. I didn't pay much attention to the Emporium after ACT 1, but now I see the additional items. Thanks!

Now I wish I had not killed Zevran in Origins.
Killing Zevran is a bad idea, his banter is truly the stuff of awesome.

In the entire game dalish / spiders heart and one in chapter one a coterie shiv are the closest but not exact.
However there are two very good matching blades, one from the merchant in lowtpwn dealing spirit damage.
Then one in Sebastians last quest dealing nature damage I think.. better for an assassin I found.
Gaahh just found out my safebox storage container gets emptied post game?????
WTF a pain in the butt of a bug for any expansions or DLC's.
