Makes me sad just thinking about it, he doesn't even get mad. He just gets this really defeated look and leaves with Danarius.

Yes. You can sex Fenris up in act 2, and then give him to Danarius in act 3.

LOL. I'll send him with Danarius next time in an evil playthrough.

I am romancing Isabela and rivalmancing Fenris I just got the dialogue where isabela says she can't stop thinking about the night with fenris and fenris says I will see you tonight.

Sounds like the romances are over for both of them... I know it doesn't show up if the romance with Fenris is active -- only if you move on after sexytime.

Ah, then he's not committed. Though I've never seen that banter before act 3. And I'm pretty sure if you're in a romance with someone else, you can't be in a romance with Fenris anyway. At least, not something that is beyond the flirting stage, but at the flirting stage, you're not in a relationship anyway.

Fenris just surrender is kind of weird, even Hawke refused to help Varric & Merrill would, and Fenris should be able to solo the whole group by himself, but plot and gameplay don't always mix I guess...

I think in the bottom of his heart, he never believe he can really escape Danarius. He always expected to have Danarius come back for him, and he will go back to be a slave. It's the same mentality when he willingly killed all the fog warriors who helped him in Seheron.
It's consistant with his personality, I think if Hawke really turn him over after 6 years, Fenris will lost all hope for running away.

I'm a bit disappointed that the party members don't react more. I can understand Varric not abandoning Hawke, and definitely Anders. Maybe even Merril ...
But Isabela? I mean, she's extremely anti-slavery, not to mention she and Fenris seemed to get along fine. I cannot believe that she wouldn't oppose Hawke, or at the very least leave him/her afterwards. And Aveline? Selling someone into slavery should be soooo wrong for her that she'd give Hawke an earful. I mean ... just having Danarius claim somebody as a slave should be enough for her to summon her guards and try to stop him. That, I'm disappointed in. It would've been great if a choice like that actually had real ramifications on the party. Isabela should've left, and Aveline should've ... done something.

Honestly though, it was even more sad than betraying Alistair and having him sent to his execution, I think. I can't quite put my finger on why. Maybe it's just because you know that you left Fenris broken, because it's what he deep down expected and feared would happen - he would be betrayed and be sent back to Danarius. In a lot of his conversations, especially with Sebastian, you find that he doesn't think himself deserving of anything, and doesn't like depending on other people. He especially is disinclined to have real friends. But traveling with you for six years, it's like he thinks perhaps it's different this time - but you stab him in the back, just like he always dreaded you would. And there was Danarius, his master, there to claim him.
Really sad. At first, I thought he would make some rash attempt at fighting or killing Danarius, or at least running away, but now that I think about it, his passive reaction makes total sense. Great scene, really well done.
