I liked how DA allowed players to choose 3 races and start off differently with in them like elf could have openings of city elf or woodland elf I would like the same style applied sense it added uniqueness to each character you made but with way better graphics. I'm sure if BW did this they'd go back to the silent protagonist but if they could have a unique shep w/ one voice perhaps they could do that for a set up like this?

I'd prefer to choose from Human, Quarian, and a toss up between a Salarian or a Drell both are interesting in their societal make up Slarains have the whole oddity of their breeding contracts and Drell are taken as children to be trained assassins both could lend to that DA type of start out story I mentioned earlier. I'd like to pick a class from them humans could be soldier, biotic, adept. Quarians could be engineer, soldier, I'd love to see a Quarian biotic or adept but maybe its pushing it due their their restrictions? I could see this biotic quarian happen only to a labrat the quarian was captured by batarians and sold to whomever and via the ME wonders department made into a biotic.

Salarians could be soldier, engneer, infiltrator, and drells could be assassin/thief thing, or adept assassin.

The reason why I have a hard time labeling a drell is because infiltrator would be the class but the way bw does infiltrators they don't infiltrate like thane does sooo...it's a blended form.

In all seriousness, an MMORPG would be cool. Four races, Salarian, Turian, Human and Asari.

starting out on a slavetraders ship, a group of slaves decided to stand up against their batarian slavers. you are one of the other slaves, who get caught in the middle of it. knowing you were a P.O.W. one of the slavers offers you freedom if you help them quell the uprising, you can either accept the offer, fake accept the offer, grab the weapon and kill the slaver, or not accept the offer. (major decision 1) depending on your choice you will either be an "escaped slave" a "freed slave" or a " survivor". after this intro mission you will be dropped on a neutral planet, where you will have to do a bunch of jobs to gain credits to buy a small, 62nd hand space ship. then you'll be able to determine your future, as a freighter, pirate, Merc or trader... and so forth, and so forth, and so forth!

problem would be that Salarians have a short life span (approx 50 years if I'm correct) Drell are pretty much slaves to the Hanar and Quarians are Communists (everything for the greater good of the flotilla)

Quarians could be soldier, engineer, or infiltrator.

Humans would be Biotic, Soldier or Vanguard.

Salarians would be Engineer, Sentinel or Soldier

Drell would be Infiltrator, Engineer (hacker) or Thief (Kasumi, stealth to sneak up, melee & closerange shooting)

Turian would be Soldier, Soldier or Soldier (but in all seriousness)

Asari could be Biotic, Vanguard or Sentinel

Me, personally, I would like a character that was more casual (and less military) then Shepard, for I feel that he/she was too serious. I guess I'm more into laid back characters.

It could also go the DAO route and allow us to play as different races (IN THAT PART ONLY).

Protagonist-wise, I'm open.

It would be cool to follow someone who can travel through heavily populated areas to get a better feel of how life is in the ME universe. There is so much available for another ME game or something else after ME3!



At any rate, I'd like some of the cast from Farscape to voice characters in the ME universe!

Gigi Edgley, Anthony Simcoe, Wayne Pygram, Ben Browder, Lani Tupu, and Johnathan Hardy to name a few.

Farscape was awesome IMHO.

I would like a DAO-style game origin story for an Asari, Turian, Human, and Salarian SPECTRE option character. Each race could have race benefits as well as class benefits. Perhaps Salarians can't be soldiers or Adepts, for example. Then once you become a Spectre, you work for the Council- actually- and go on missions they send you on and what not. It doesn't need a 'saving the galaxy' hero type story. You could be a Spectre who is trying to take down a drug cartel in one set of missions, and then perhaps you're doing assassinations to maintain stability in a sector of space, etc. Your mission decisions could have an impact on the end of the game even.

I would love to play a Spectre, and have a choice of races a la DA:O. That would be absolutely incredible.

What I can't decide though is if I'd want it to be pre or post Shepard. If it's pre-Shepard, you couldn't be a human Spectre obviously. But if it's post-Shepard, there are too many things that depend on ME1 and ME2 like the council that it's not really possible.

Wow... SOMEONE'S a little testy, huh?

I never said I didn't like the Asari.

I wouldn't NOT play games like Metroid, Bayonetta, Mirror's Edge, or Perfect Dark just because the main character is a woman.

I just wouldn't identify with an Asari protagonist as much. It doesn't make me sexist. Someone asked for my opinion, and I gave it. Relax, bud.

I was just thinking about this.  I agree with others. Having a game along the lines of DA:O would be nice. (Like playing a Turian Infiltrator, or Asari Adept, and every variable has an "origin" story. )

I would like to experience exploration as a theme and not just "save the galaxy from an ancient evil". I want to play a protagonist that travels through the various systems throughout a few years of his life and assembling friends on his ship or even getting a new ship eventually. Then you can either become like a famous mercenary, trader, slaver or something and have your own faction...Emphasis on exploration though, discovering the unknown - a little star trek ^^
