A patch is really necessary.... I just found that the import save feature is bugged... I will have to play it again once its fixed
What Bug is there cause i just spent the last 10 days playing a new warrior on Origins and then Awakening to start new game on DA2 with a save. I am on the PS3.
Dont really know if I want to get KOTOR Online now if this is the lack of information and knowledge that we will get with the game. I thought for sure we would see some fixes soon and thats why i played origins and awakening for the last 10 days.
Dont know, almost seems like they hardly tested this game before they put it out :/

The import system doesn't recognize many of your choices in DA:O, DA:A and DA:O's DLC.
For instance it's been reported Alistair is king in DA2 even if you had him executed in DA:O, it doesn't matter who you romanced in DA:O because the import system doesn't recognize it anyway, some people say Vigil's Keep is counted as destroyed by the import system if you chose to save Amaranthine even if it was fully upgraded and thus survived in your DA:O save (that makes the Finding Nathaniel quest unavailable in DA2 supposedly).
I've read about many many other things not being recognized and counted from imported saves as well, you can read some more about DA2 bugs here
http://dragonage.wik...ge_2_known_bugsAt this point especially with the import system it's almost hard to tell if they're actually bugs with the function itself, or if BioWare just made a conscious decision to ignore what you did in DA:O even if you import a save, things like Leliana surviving no matter what and appearing in DA2, likewise with Zevran and other things seem to point towards this.
Some would probably make the point that this is BioWare simply forcing their canon of DA2 no matter what and eliminating even more player choices, but I don't think that is necessarily true, I think it's just as likely that the import system is bugged so badly that all these incosistencies we've been seeing and blaming on continuity (the ending of DA2, characters appearing that shouldn't because of DA:O actions, quests missing, etc) are actually introduced by the import bugs instead.
It's an interesting thought
