Ah yes, patch complaining. One of the more popular forum topics on any game developer's forums these days. They accomplish nothing other then to let people vent. They are entertaining, at times, though.

Ive posted all my glitches in feedback threads and I dont feel like reposting all of them again here. But if there is a video thread for them I might look thru that. Hope they patch it soon. It badly needs one.

I have a feeling that, if a patch had been released in the first 17 days, people would then be complaining that there was a patch released in the first 17 days.

You skipped D and E.

And yes, I am such a horrible man for downtalking someone who so intelligently names themself "Refund4ThisGamePlz" so they can log into BioWare Social Network to go rage on the Dragon Age II forums instead of doing something productive with their lives.  And not even educating themself on what they are arguing about so they look like a douchebag as they try to waste their time arguing on the forum.

Oops, I am such a bad bad man. [/sarcasm]

The thing is $60 is a lot of money for a broken game (no auto-attack, save game flags from DAO not being picked up, the Merrill bug, the pc targeting bug, missing geometry, etc.). Even rudimentary testing should have picked these up. A fast patch turn-around is a reasonable expectation.

its been a while they should at least have a beta patch by now the only patch they have is for people with single core comps.

it's not gonna be for a while sadly hopefully the patch actually fixes problems, at least we got a minor response yesterday instead of the absolute silence...

Actually, thank you for rewording that for me. Indeed, this thread IS full of useless posts that only serve the purpose of annoying people. I didn't want to be so harsh. :-p.

I haven't run into a single story breaking bug in 4 playthroughs.

Am I lucky or did I miss them all?

There WERE two quest bugs. (Who needs rescuing?, Reinin' in...both side quests) And I heard that the rivalry path for Merrill is bugged. (Haven't had her as a rival yet, so I dunno) But I had FAR more trouble in DAO. I.E. Alistair thinking he is king when he clearly is NOT. :P

Well I'd say that classifies as a few Posted Image, I'd say the outcry for a patch isn't because of the few quest issues but because of the game breaking bugs, that's my reason I'd like a patch as well. BTW I never played DAO until january so I wouldn't know what bugs it had.

you probably missed a lot. 4 playthroughs? wtf? how fast could you people play these games, i dont get it? seems like you only did the main quests. im in act 2 now and i played for 35 hours now. i stopped playing cause of the merril quest bug at beginning of act 2. if you try to find every sidequest like me then your chance is higher to encounter more bugs.

now im waiting for days for the patch. i really want to know whats going on in act 2...

Actually you really might have gotten lucky. xD Some bugs can cause your guy to be so weak you just can not finish the game (Isabela + Sabestian bug) and some will stop you from doing quests.

Patch is coming soon, just be patient! Bioware promised many fix for the up coming patch so give them some time. (Merrill quest, slow down bug, maker's sign bug, etc etc)

Or we would have a patch that just messed up the game entirely because it was pushed. Really, people complain about the game is bugged because it got pushed out too soon. What do you think would happen if they push out patches too soon?

I've downloaded and installed about 8 mods.

Now I'm just waiting for the Act 3 Merill bug and the Speed bug to be fixed before I try going through the game again.
