Don't quote the trolls. In fact, it's wisest not to respond at all, to simply report them and be done with it. They thrive on attention, even (some would say especially) negative attention. The worst punishment you can inflict on a troll is to ignore them utterly.

This is a jolly good policy to adopt.

I also extend it to people who repeatedly make the same arguments over and over regardless of the amount of responses they get that explain things otherwise. There simply is no point. I engage with the engageable :P

This may be wise, but oftentimes it´s boring.

Topics such as this here tend to be taken toooo serious, so people get angry, there are insults, bans, and everyone gets mad at someone.
Tis better to just make fun of whatever possible and talk about sex, drugs and rock´n´roll, for these are the most beautiful things in this world.

Conversely, I'm female, and as such am on the receiving end of male privilege. There have been lots of times (when a person cannot see what I look like) when it has been assumed I am male, either because of the opinions I hold or the things I do.

I must admit I thought so too.

The fact of the matter is... there shouldn't be male characters hitting on you if you're playing a male character. That's disgusting.

Gay people have their own game, it's called dying of AIDS.

Can´t take you seriously, name says it all.

Obvious failtroll is tooo obvious......

Gays hitting on me is disgusting.  This is a feature, not a bug, of masculinity.  There is "male" and "female" in this world, get used to it.

Most people are straight.  Bioware does have to look after their resources.

I've already posted earlier my impressions that this seems to be quite an enjoyable game and that the bisexuality as implemented does not bother me at all, as Anders and Fenris are so obviously gay that it is best to ignore them.

I know quite a number of masculine individuals who are not disgusted by it. So perhaps it's just a feature of you, and others like you.

Hi there.

The world consists of males and females? Well colour me tickled pink, this is news to me.
Yes, most people are straight, and your point?
I think Anders' Martyr ability is awesomesauce, I would not want to ignore him.

Males have flat emotions.  That doesn't mean they like it - if they did, that means they're gay

Bioware can't waste resources.  If there was only 1 gay in the world, unfortunately for him they would have to ignore him.

I think you're selling yourself a bit short. You only have two emotions? Like and disgust? How about ambivalence? Just because you're not disgusted by something, does not mean you want it. Maybe this is why some people have such a knee-jerk reaction to the whole issue. If they don't show they hate any displays of gayness, that must mean they're gay!

I do have two emotions.  Great and angry.

It's good to bring up the neutral feeling.  That is the flatness.

As far as gays hitting on people, for heterosexuals it is strictly a dominance contest.

And what would being neutral to it mean? That you're bisexual? <_<

You'll need to explain the line I've quoted above. I'm not sure what you mean by it.

I know, being one as well.
One of the greatest advantages of being a man is that you can compare your dong size to others in order to prove them wrong.

Most people are straight, that is true. Also true is that Bioware has to look after their resources. Unfortunately you're mistaking the word "straight" with the phrase "disgusted by homosexuality." I would appreciate it if you rectified this issue.

Personally, being a straight male, I have no problem with teh gheys hitting on me. I appreciate the thought and reject the advance respectfully.
I will admit that I find male genitalia unappealing, but since no part of a come on, at least any classy come on, involves displaying said genitalia and slapping it in my face, I tend to find no reason to be disgusted... and to be honest, such a come on would be disturbing from any member of any gender.
