Just wanted to say:

Why do some (not all, honestly I'm not trying to make a stereotype) male straight guys think they are superior? Everything that's not you seems to be less or even wrong, disgusting and shouldn't be allowed in your personal circle. What is the motivation behind this kind of racism or homophobia? Is it fear, ignorance, stupidity... Or a combination of these things?

Honestly. I would like to hear one rational non hatefull, stupid, ignorant argument that proves me that ******- or bi-sexuality is wrong. It would blow me away. Since it CAN'T be done.

Homosexuality = bisexuality = heterosexuality.

LOVE = LOVE

What would a professed male Twilight fan know about straight gamers anyways?

He should make a GTBL exclusive game and see how that game sells then tell us why the majority doesn't matter.

I think what they're (we're?  I don't really want to include myself in such a turrible group) they're actually trying to argue from is numerical superiority, there's more of them, rather than they're individually better.  I think.  Iunno.  This approach is much more palatable to them, because they know that saying straight out, "I'm better cuz I'm straight, yo." is so ridiculously off putting.

Elthina noo, maker noo!!! Not this again I'm torn I agree with some things he says but disagree with how they implemented in the game, I would have preferred if certain characters were bi/gay and others were written as straight, but I also thought the arishok was the coolest guy in videogame history

Don't label all straight gamers as the same I would have thought you would understand that labelling a group is ridiculous. I have a bisexual friend who would be appalled at your confrontational stance.

We think we are superior? Talk about hypocrisy... You really want to turn this into an argument about morality? It will get locked incredibly fast. Needless to say you can't prove your views on morality are right, mine are wrong, and vice-versa.

There are no 2 equal items in this world.  Love=Love=FALSE.  Love can bevery different and while for some it is good for others it can be dreadfull.

And also Homosexuality = bisexuality = heterosexuality=FALSE.  All things are different. For example you and I humans but it doesnt mean that there is no difference between us.

And if I could I would vote for no homosexuality  button in my game. It was really NOT pleasant to me when Anders started his dialoge...

Which is dumb and lazy anyways and only shows shows Bioware is thinking more on their fanfiction novel writing audience than in creating meaningful sexually coherent characters. I don't really mind anyways, for there are far worse problems with the game than their overused highschool formula of 1) approach npc 2) make advances towards said npc 3) dumb 'sex' scene 4) never speak of it ever again.


Nevertheless I'm gald homophobic people are called out on their BS. It's 2011 for god's sake.

Why should players have to? my character is romancing Isabella and I still ended up in a conversation with a lovestruck Anders. Doesn't it make perfect sense that a character would pick up whether Hawke was straight or bi or gay? I think Angry Joe's comedy sketch was a perfect example of this, "hey were bros, but sorry Im not gay.. hey wait come back, awww come on there was no way out of it!", I don't need to deal with emo party members.

It's not rocket science Gaider make Hawke have a homosexual flag at the beginning of character creation.

Then you don't need a no homosexual flag. Then don't have the BI characters jump you at the beginning. Then I could live with the fact that the NPC's were BI (though it is extremely unrealistic considering Kirwall's populace and the fact that only 14% of women have even ever had a BI experience).

Heck they could through in some group romances with Merill and Isabella that would help placate this.

As of right now we straight players have a BI lover without getting any "benefits"

And I don't think how Gaider responded was "Blasting" anyone. I took it as a reasonable response to a person who feels their opinion and preference should matter more than the next persons.
