Why should I? I am a straight male and I do not appreciate male characters coming on to me during the time I am relaxing with an RPG. Now female vs female romances make me somewhat curious and I am glad to explore those options in a video game. But male on male romances have got to go. I play games for fun and I don't want to be subjected to something like that.

Okay take a deep breath in. Now, let it all out, slowly. Hopefully, some of that insane egocentrism will have left your body too.

damnit Robert Smith, I wouldn't have guessed from your music that you wouldn't understand what a Heart symbol means!

Ok, no, I have the solution. What you do is you have, in place of the representation of a heart, a representation of the entire history of human evolution (I would suggest the evolution of all life, but that might not fit into those little circles) to depict the continuation of the species into the far future from this single moment of union. In place of the broken heart? A desolate world where no life ever stirs, to demonstrate what would come of it if everyone were to act so foolishly. What could be simpler?

Artichokes, obviously.

You don't have a normal looking heart ever.

It's either golden or it's broken. So yeah nice try.

That's really going to relate to a conversation I'm sure. Biological symbols are clearer, if we don't agree so be it.

Really ? The one on my screen was redish. Maybe the colour was off.

Wow... Wait? You don't want two guys to flirt each other but would accept two girls to do it? Dude, that's what I call being really rude.

I'm just unhappy with the fact that you must be a jerk to end a potential same-sex relationship.

It's goldenish on my screen. The broken heart is black with a red glow. There's only 2 hearts. The big golden one and the broken one.

Biological symbols aren't clearer because they can be fertility, cancer, or gender. For all we know it could be Hawke referring to a certain gender. It has nothing to do wth romance whatsoever.

Now imagine you'd be a girl, and rephrase your post accordingly. You'd dismiss that point of view?

Don't evade the point, you just basically said DA2 is in fact a lot less offensive to you than DA:O.

Anders doesn't assume. He takes a risk, because it's in his character to do so. Fenris will never assume anything.
The prostitute? He assumes.. because that's his job.

Some people are. Some people aren't. 4 people (2 of which you never have to bring up) are. This is how real life works too.

Every brothel in Thedas seen so far has been unisex. Deal with it.

It may have been less offensive, if not for how all of the LIs just happened to be bisexual. Statistically shouldn't at least one of them been straight? Why isn't representation important here? I simply find this scenario of all four LIs being bisexual rather cheesy in the sense of being horribly unlikely and a bad sign of what future Bioware games may be like.

Unisex brothels? Well I don't like it, but it is Bioware's game.

clearly you haven't encountered this rare specimen before. They are the type where you need a master ball to catch. However you can get something far more useful if you use it on something else.

Well, pleny of people do want gay male romances.  Who's opinion is more valid?

You can shoot down the potential advances and they don't come up again.  You can deal with it for five minutes.
