@ Lord Sullivan

I ask again:

Why is it even important whether or not homosexuality is "natural"?

It's important for Gays to accept that it isn't so that they can understand that when an heterosuexual have objections
to be subjected to Homosexuality they are not afraid of it nor discriminating and have a right to express it without
being tagged with some hyperbole word in the attempt to assasinate his/her character because gays don't want
to make an effort to understand that heterosexuals can't relate to homosexuality.

There was a time when there were queers, now there are homophobes?

This is not helping the Gay community, just sayin.

Homosexuality IS natural though. And whether if heterosexuals don't see me as natural or not is their issue, not mine.

Then don't attact them for not agreeiong with you.

Easier said than done when you're told that you're not natural/an abomination/strange/sub-human at times.

I find it quite reasonable if people get defensive when others are insulting them (intentionally or not).
Am I wrong?

[sarcasm]
Of course are you wrong. Gays are like women, they should not dare to disagree with men, for GOD has created the Man as master and the woman as his servant.

Well don't include all heterosexuals in the "Religious Nut Band Wagon" and abnormal only mean (different, out of the ordinary, controversial).

No were does imply that is a negative thing.

As long as they remain civil, then yes. It's a natural reaction when you feel like you're being attacked. How we deal with that reaction is what separates us from the flamers and trolls.

But "abnormal" and "unnatural" does have a negative sub-tone. :(

Which is why I would like people to use more specific words, or at least describe what they mean by them.

Abnormal generally implies a bad thing.
Even if that may not be the literal meaning, it IS indeed used as an insult - much the same way as "assh*le" originally only means a very vital part of the human body but is generally meant as insult when you call someone so....

Erm...most of my friends are straight, straight guys no less that have beliefs ranging from Atheism to Wicca, and Satanism to conservative Christianity. Personal views are personal; I just want to be treated and percieved like a human being, not sub-human or a unnamed third gender. Abornmal may not be offensive or negative, but you're making it sound very negative.

This thread is still going?

Homosexuality is completely as natural as heterosexuality is.

Anyone can marry anyone in Canada with full legal/civil/religious recognition. People here are pretty relaxed I'd say.

People need to relax and chill out.

If I hear/see anymore of this BS "I'm being subjected to homosexuality against my will" I'm going to vomit in my mouth. You know, because everyday when I am out in school or work or shopping or working out, I don't see heterosexuals living their lives? I guess I should just go around with a megaphone and tell everyone to stop being themselves because I am being "subjected to it beyond my control?" Grow up, seriously.

Subjected to homosexuality... Someone is forcing straights to watch gay porn or what?

If you want to play the word game then... If I'm having a conversation with a gay person, I'm not subjected to homosexuality, but a gay person makes a pass at me, I am subjected to homosexuality.

So if someone (i.e the subject user in the article)  experience is PC made a pass at in a game but a NPC of the same gender? he or she is subjected homosexuality OR Bi-sexuality.

So even if I support gays to the extent of my heterosexual limits? I cannot blame that person for complaining.

The more I read/hear things like this the more I think there is that strange idea floating everywhere that any gay would rape any guy he wants. Serisously we are talking about things like "hey wanna dance?" or "hey wanna have a drink?"  how can that be considered to be "subjected to homosexuality" although you are extremely sensitive.

Of course. I do in no way approve of aggresiveness when debating. ^_^

I can see you have a level head in a debate. :) However, there have been those that have given in to their anger and just thrown insults around, on both (or all) sides of the argument, and it's not helped in the slightest. It all seems to be fairly calm at the moment though, which I'm glad to see!

So, you are saying it is not okay for homosexual people to flirt with heterosexual people because nature says so?

What happens when a heterosexual person flirts with a homosexual one?

Cousin? [smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/blushing.png[/smilie]

Perhaps.

That was very interesting we are so close. My grandmother is even more close to you since she was from near Viipuri. Also what was interesting is how you said it in the first place. I went totally  with mouth open. Was both unexpected and expected from you.

People use in Finnish language that cousin or more accurately little cousin word (pikkuserkku). We would be little cousins or cousins to each other other according to the saying. I would prefer to say cousins though.

gotta say this much.

despite my opinion on the matter of how the LI's are handled in Dragon Age 2 - and you can find my opinion somewhere on page 76 of this thread.

I've been reading through the posts, since then, generally think it's productive, despite the occasional off-shoot of hyperbole or misunderstanding.

So kudos to a lot of you.:)

I agree with the OP and his idea for the romances, but I don't see why there needs to be so much sex.

Interesting, I was only reminded now, when Jademoon asked me, how we refer to each other as cousins. Most of the time we call you "tribesmen" though, as all our language groups are called tribes in my language.

I feel so special now. No other peoples have said to been in a single territory longer than ours, in Europe.

Then where you live people aren´t creative at all. When I was at school, however, My friends and me managed to make Anus recognised as an insult everywhere.

I guess you wouldn´t yell "phallus" when playing the Penis game either? I doB)

Heck, there's even more potential mates out there for you because gay men are being considerate and leaving them for you.

This is probably the most beautiful sentence I have ever read on this forum, and I´m leaving the sarcasm tag away on purpose.
I swear, i´d kiss you if you weren´t lesbian (and on the other side of the planet)<3

It gets countered by women turning homosexual. So no joy.
