I, personally, haven't insisted on gay content in my gaming. I'm thankful for when it does happen (at least if it's more than tokenism) but I am able to enjoy a game without it. I've got nothing but praise for BioWare for promoting inclusivity. However, I'm not going to be happy when people shout about excluding me solely because they dislike the content being in a game they enjoy when it barely even effects them.

Because including gay content is an inclusive idea while excluding gay content is, well, an exclusive idea?  It's the same reasoning behind why black people can eat at the same restaurant as white people and why we aren't sympathetic to the KKK.

You just dont want anything remotely related to hosexuality near you, but you fail to realize is that it will be near you on real life either you like it or not. You can make a game developer erase any trace of it in a game but you cant ask people to hide from you so you can feel more comfortable.

Have you ever come across any gay posting about an option to get rid of heterosexual content on any media. No, That would be just ridiculous. How is it that it is fair the other way around?

Be careful, though.  When I asked a similar question to another poster a couple days back, he told me that they could include a "gay only" toggle, too.  That would make it fair, he said.

I think the fact that it "turns your stomach" is why people have labled you a homophobe. It shouldn't make you so upset! It's just a couple in an alley. That's it. And that's what most homosexuals want you to think.

This world would be a lot better if we just... hated each other equaly.

Well my point is that if heterosexual would have the ability to altenatly turn of gay content in a game, if gay peeps get the same option, hey all good and well!

And it's enough that in RL you can't control what you may see or who approaches you, is their really a need to add that type of situation i a game? well I think not.

Look at the Sims series. From Sims the original to Sims 3, homoseuxality became more and more accepted. In Sims, you could only have two sims of the same-sex live together in a very friendly relationship, but now in Sims 3, you can have sims of the same sex marry, adopt children, and do pretty much anything a married opposite sex couple can.

In short, get used to same-sex relationship content in games for now on. I don't want to be dickish or anything, but it's here to stay. Now I'm not saying that there will be two guys or girls making out in every game, but homosexuality will probably start to be lampshaded more than before.

I'm going to make another point here. There's all this disgust over one male character coming onto male Hawke at one point in the game because certain straight men feel uncomfortable with it happening to them in real life. However, there are certain points in this and other games where your life is threatened. Now, I'm fairly certain that most people wouldn't be particularly happy about having that happen to them in real life either but there's no outcry about that. It's a fantasy role-playing game. People need to take it a lot less seriously.
