Skins for the champs cost money. I used to play a lot this game but there was a momment I just couldnt stand the community any more. On all these battle arena games people (maybe i should say kids) are way too aggresive

That is, sadly true, and the cause is pretty obvious. Most of them can´t play at all. And there is few things more infuriating in a game than losing (in spite of being the best) because of retarded teammates.

I personally found the Harvester and what happened to Hawke's mother to be the most disturbing. :pinched:

That reminded me of Silent Hill for some reason.
Loved every moment of it

None told what is the problem.

So I tell it.

- People don't like gay advances in video games.
- People want gay romances in video games.
- Someone suggested a "no gay advances" button.
- Some people did not accept it.

There.

[sarcastic/witty, and a tad bit disillusioned] Well, it prepares people for later. How shall they serve in the US Army and fight terrorists if they can´t see people dying?

[Aristocratic brit accent] Well of COURSE. How could I be so drowl? And what's better is that they'll know how to kill enemy mages by stunning them with longswords and the proper techniques of dismembering a dragon?

I think that's oversimplifying it somewhat but I guess that covers some of the points, yes.

I guess the main question is whether people who don't want to see one piece of dialogue indicating a gay advance should be accommodated or not?

*eye twitch* You just triggered one of my pet peeves. There is no British accent. :P

It is the whole idea that a gay man hitting on a male PC is so disturbing it requires an off option.
When you then put into it that no one is complaining about the female advances (hetero or ******), it just sounds very discriminating and hypocritical.

EDIT: Sorry, that was a mistake...

The important point is to teach that killing is ok. The exact ways on how to kill someone are important only later-on. Besides, in a time of guns it´s really not that hard: Point at em with the end with the hole in it and pull the trigger...

Am I the only one who can't post in this thread? Has it been stealth locked or something because I see no indication it's been locked other than the fact that it isn't allowing me to post.

Since the last post was seven days ago, it's a possibility that it is locked. I don't see any indication that it is though.

Anyways, I shall call Good Night now too.

Since people are going back into discussing problems that shouldn´t exist to start with, the fun is rapidly dripping out of this thread.

Or how seeing red after being shot with 10+ bullets means that you need to stay still in a hole until it goes away, then you're at full health again with no reporcussions.

The point. Missing it. Ah well.
Besides, you´re only at full health if the combat is over and you´re in walking mode again. Do Not Mismatch The Games.

NOT AN ANSWER, but that reminded me:

Can you registrate the game to another account than the one you use the play it? (For PS3)

My boyfriend and I share the game on his account, but he's not interested in the forums, so I'd like to registrate it to mine...

EDIT: He has an account here too. I'm asking if they are linked.

Haha, English would be a tad more accurate. There is no English-Gaelic. >.> You could generalise the southern English accent, I suppose. We tend to have a fairly eloquent accent. But, the home counties probably sounds about right for what you're going for.

As for my pet peeve, it's really only focused on the "British accent" generalisation. There's quite a large difference between Scottish, English, Irish and Welsh accents. Of course, there's regional ones within those countries but I have to limit myself somewhere or I'd be explaining it to people for ages. >.>

Yellow beans don't have feelings or rights. They are vegetables, not people.

I could have twisted it around on you since "bean" is another term for lesbian, but I'm in a good mood so I'll be nice. ;)

I've taken some classes in European History, and I know a little bit that the British Isles are far more diverse and colorful than most americans think.

Yay, good for you then! :3

I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to explain that to American friends.
