Not sure if this is where it goes... and sorry if someone's already asked about it, i'm no forum troll.
But how come melee Rogue gets 3 specilization specials? In DA:O we got an option as Ranger where you could summon a wolf, bear or spider. I know it has nothing to do with ranging, considering none of those actuall apply to using a bow, but still. You get way more archer skills in DAO than you do in DA2 like Arrow of slaying, critial shot, shattering shot. I know that Rain of Arrows is similar to scatter shot, it's kind of a AOE but not really, it just bounces everywhere stunning enemies. And on the Awakening dlc (Iknow there's no new dlc for DA2 that gives you new abilities) you get them (Burst shot, Rain of Arrows). What i'm basically saying is that when mike was boasting about archers being great in DA2 on livestream, they're not really... their dps on DAO is alot better. My melee rogue can do up to +2k with assassinate on DA2, using an archer he barely got anywhere.
Hopefully a designer, or staff member will see this, and if you are, can you please add an archer specializtion in the next dlc? Like Varric/Sebastian does. I absoultely love using an archer, and foudn more joy playing one in DAO than in DA2.
Please no flaming, or trolling.
I'm just looking for an honest answer, from someone who's more knowledgable about how the classes were created them, or why sometimes where taken out of the game.

Later in the game you should be able to get crits as high as 40k+ using Assassinate with a good Act 3 bow on BRITTLED and debuffed targets, or higher.
With endgame daggers others have achieved as high as 140k under the same circumstances.

I have personally managed 20-30k crits using Assassinate with daggers and 10-12k with bow on BRITTLE enemies.
TG nalfen has documented a crit with daggers of 140k (89k right hand + 51k left hand), using daggers Assassinate on a BRITTLED Orsino with these debuffs
I'm not sure exactly how the math works and why daggers seem to do more Assassinate damage even though bows have higher base damage, but bow Assassination is definitely helpful for one-shotting lieutenants and hurting bosses when you can't get close.
I beat Arishok in the duel almost exclusively with Assassinate bow shots, which did about 50x more damage than regular bow shots.
