There's an easy way to avoid the weakening: Don't play it until youve done the suicide mission.

It wasn't confirmed that they wouldn't appear. But in the leaked awards and files, there was zero mention of the VS so I think most people are prepared for the worst.

Well, no it does not, but chances are that they won't show up.
And that's not a bad thing, the role of the VS in ME3 will be more awesome.

Also, I did tell everyone that these guys are batarians, they only need 2 eyes.

i read the second page and no vs . but they do answer on how the reapers get to earth wich i wont spoil. and remember the numbers from the one screen shot? it does in fact have a role in the dlc but i wont say what it is

Worst thing about it imo. I'll be doing the same as you, but, when I do my Adept playthru, Hackett will be there after I slip in disk 2

Worst thing about it imo. I'll be doing the same as you, but, when I do my Adept playthru, Hackett will be there after I slip in disk 2

im on my 30 something playthrough and the only mission i have left is legions loyalty. so when i comeplete the game tonight ill start arrival after the sm on 12 midnight monday or early tuesday

hey people will wonder why they cant get the achievement when they died in that part of the dlc its in the article and i bet when people die at that part they will come on here and ask how to get it

I have to imagine that it will play better after the SM, just like LotSB.  I have to say, after reading the second page. Arrival could be an epic personal story for Shep or it could be a "pew pew" fest.  Wishes for both.

The whole reason Arrival is playable before the suicide mission is, ya know, to make life simple for that little person who has just started ME2.

I'm going to play it post-suicide mission and pretend it's been months since the suicide mission as well. That's how it is.
