With the high dragon it seemed as though it wanted to load it but had an issue with Hawke, maybe his race or sex need changing.
Any ideas?

Ok, tried using the high dragon and Flemeth Dragon model. Both of them just left me with a floating Hawke head.

I tried a combination of all of them even removing head, race and sex and still got nothing on the large creatures. I tested Pride Demon C and got that working by swapping Anders but I don't think High Dragons can be visible. I also tried the Varterral and that one doesn't work either.

Can you help me where to edit a saved game to enable romance flag with companions?
I looked into 'Savegame_PartyList' > 'Savegame_PartyPoolMembers' > CHARACTER > 'ScriptVartable' and saw that at the bottom of the list in that is one line where '1Script_Vartable_Name' has a value of 120 all characters who have at least been flirted with have a value of "2" in '1Script_Vartable_Value' and characters who haven't have a "1" for the value
I still need to look into it more but I think it can be done
If you can give me your savegame.das and tell me what characters you have flirted with and how much further it has gone with other characters then I could find out much quicker.

Yeah I messed around for a while with it to no avail.
I'm working on an elf at the moment, all works fine (body and head), I'm just trying to see if there's a head that actually works in the Black Emporiums Mirror Of Transformation.
And trying to figure out if you can even edit elven faces in game at all.

TBE Mirror only seems to always change the other race's face back to the human and then whatever sex the character is

Any way to change out party members with the editor?
What do you mean by "Change out"?
do you mean something like swapping Bethany for Carver?

Yeah, I messed up and took Bethany into the Expedition quest that ends Act 1 without Anders. I want to remove Fenris from the party and replace him with Anders.
Ok, that's very easy
On Section E of the tutorial (E. Re-Unlocking Party Members)
Just change the value to "2" for Fenris and "1" for Anders

The nearest save I have to the start of the Expedition quest is 10 hrs of gameplay older and I dont want to reinvest that time.

Yup, now joy then.
Any idea what part in the Gff4editor relates to hair?
Ie can we pick a elven head then change the hair style to something else?

Looked at that and I dont think its what I need. That seems to only unlock the different chars. I actually need to mod a save game and remove one member (Fenris) and add in a different one (Anders) into the actual save.

No, you can use it to even get all party members at once but if you just make Fenris go in the party menu (putting him to 2) then you can use Anders (after you put him to 1)
Putting everyone to "1" brings everyone out and they all follow you, but you can only use the first 3

The file strings are "hm_iconicmale" and "hm_iconicmale_nomark" but when I replaced them in GFF, it didn't work, whereas it works for other characters. I wonder if it has something to do with their being both .mor and .mop files for the default Hawke faces instead of just the single .mor.
I really hate the default Carver's face.

Has anyone figured out how to replace Carver's head with the iconic (default) Hawke's head??

I haven't tried, I also don't have any saves with Carver but when I start a new game I will be sure to test it

For example, I've tried changing Carver's face from hm_carver_h1s1 to hm_carver_h3s3. I saved, resigned, all that good stuff, yet when I load the save on my 360, Carver's looks haven't changed. I'm stumped as to why the changes work for Hawke but not her party members. Is it just not possible to change the faces/models of party members via the GFF editor for DA2 saves on the 360? I hear face/body swapping is easy for DA2 on the PC, but I prefer to play on the console. Any help you can offer will certainly be appreciated! Thanks so much!

also how would you set the model of the highdragons?
Never mind..
how would you edit the attack animations to be that of a dragons? and how would you add the dragons abilitys?
it should somehow be possible to set the animation of a weapon to the Dragons standard animation.
and the abilitys for the darkspawn were visable in the one DLC so it should be possible to have those avilable.
oh cool.. was able to get my Hawke/dragon breathing fire.... yay for dragon activated abilitys!
now just need a weapon that i can set that doesnt glitch out his shape....

Sean, just wanted to thank you for writing these tutorials. They have helped me so much, especially as a console gamer! It's a lot of fun switching out my Hawke's face or body model. I have, however, run into a bit of a problem and was hoping you would be able to help. Whilst I am able to change out Hawke's face and body model without problems (currently playing a mage fem!Hawke with Isabela's face and her black corset body model), it seems I cannot change out faces/body models for companions, even when following the tutorial to a T.

I have seen some people have issues with Carver and the only thing I can think of is that Carver/Bethany's faces (not models since I have swapped in their Warden Models in the beginning of the game) are tied to the presets so they "correct" themselves to match the preset you used in the beginning of the game.

Cool, sometimes the larger creatures like High Dragons, Varterrals and Flemeth Dragon don't show up in game so you are left with an invisble huge creature, so good job on getting it working.

however the Double Dragon and Dragon models work just fine for me..
is there a way to either make a weapon use the creatures attack animation or make the weapon permenantly shethed so the Dragons Body doesnt warp in combat?
im pretty sure theres a way to put the basic attacks as a activated ability somehow but havent yet taken the time to test the vairous abilitys yet.
also can confirm that Monster or Creature Unique abilitys only function properly when using the right monsters model.. I'e using Dragon breath as Hawke will result in a cool visual but have no effect, but it will have its full effect when your a Dragon.

It might be possible to remove the weapon completely maybe by changing the model to something that doesn't have world model or was even a a weapon that is left over from when the game was being developed that doesn't function correctly, but that would take a lot of trial and error.
This is something to look into though. But one of the problems with using a creature that is large is that you will have some difficulties navigating through areas with that character since some areas do have a height/width limit.

I want to make the weapon inflict spirit damage, but it seems I've somehow shift its elemental damage to physical. All I did add the effect of improve with level up, but that somehow made it inflict physical damage. So does anybody have the id so that I can change either change its damage back to fire or shift to spirit as I'd originally intended?
Another thing, First Blight is still missing a few effects such % Cold Damage and % Spirit Damage. Is there a list that contains a few of these ids or have they not been discovered yet?
