So no Ash or Kaiden in the dlc ?

That is yet to be confirmed or denied. It would be cool if they did but honestly I don't see it happening.

Look at this.

Near the bottom.

Lair of the Shadow Broker allowed you to rekindle your romance with
Liara. Will Arrival offer the same for the Virmire Survivor (Ashley or
Kaidan)?

Unfortunately, no. I'm sad about this, but I hope it means that Kaidan/Ashley's role in Mass Effect 3 is super awesome.

So that's a no. They won't be in this DLC.

I think they only got a look at the first mission and the 22 minute video said Bioware wouldn't tell them anything else about the DLC. So who knows they might end up having a cameo of some sort.

Having only just watching the bit with Shepard getting Kenson out and the shuttle ride I find I am totally unsurprised by her betrayal (having just seen it on page 1 here). I heard her speaking to the guy on the other end to get the information read for Shepard and my brain just screamed "she's evil" and "she's up to something". It will be interesting to see the specifics of what and why though.

Yeah, does seem like odd behaviour for someone who's been indoctrinated by the reapers, to send an asteroid towards their one entrance into the galaxy - even if it is just a trap.

Nothing of any great consequence is going to happen to Shepard in this DLC.  Everything will be back to normal and hunky dory at the end of the Arrival DLC.  They have to ensure everything is back to normal so that people can carry on playing through to the suicide mission.

Well..."normal." :P People who start up ME3, never having played Arrival, might just learn that "weird, bad things are happening to Shepard" without having the background of how it happened displayed for them, as it would be for us who played through said theoretical events in the DLC. Not saying it IS going to happen, but there's nothing stopping BW from going that route and having it just dumped on the laps of players in ME3 who never bothered with Arrival. I really, really hope I'm wrong.

I really wouldn't stress too much worrying about it, at best you will probably get an email from Dr Kenson in ME 3 going "oh thanks for your help blah de blah I have learnt my lesson".  Basically Arrival is shaping up to be ME 2's Bring Down the Sky.

It will probably be half an hour of fun but outside of that will have sod all consequences for anything.   That is the way they have to play it because they decided for some reason to make the side mission available after Horizon.

I'm guessing they sedated him but he woke up before they could do anything. Which is why, according to the IGN article, they were upset that he woke up when he did.

Actually, he woke up normally from the head trauma. The sedative had no effect due to Shepard being a cyborg.

Cyborg?

I've got a secret, I've been hiding under my skin
My heart is human, my blood is boiling
My brain I.B.M., so if you see me
Acting strangely, don't be surprised
I'm just a man who needed someone
And somewhere to hide
To keep me alive, just keep me alive
Somewhere to hide to keep me alive
I'm not a robot without emotions
I'm not what you see
I've come to help you
With your problems, so we can be free
I'm not a hero, I'm not a saviour
Forget what you know
I'm just a man whose circumstances
Went beyond his control
Beyond my control, we all need control
I need control, we all need control

Life is a journey, not a destination.  Bring on all the spoilers. I'll still enjoy playing through the DLC myself and doing it my way.

Paragon or Renegade.... either way, I'm just looking forward to'"nuking" an entire batarian solar system! That doing so it seems will at least delay the Reapers is just a bonus.

Last Bridgeing DLC to ME3.

Solo Experience.

Squaddies are all Killable.

They aren't even confirmed to be playing a part in this Last Bridgeing DLC to ME3.

Thus is appears that Bioware has no qualms abandoning the dead due to way too many variables. Which means that everyone should begin getting ready to welcoming their replacements for ME3.

WHy would you think that? They are not in this DLC because they find it pointless adding mute team members, and they are not bringing all of the voice actors for every characters back for a 7 dollar DLC.

exactly...don't read into it.  Probably had more to do with the profit margin of the DLC itself.

There were like only four VAs in the whole thing.

I assume Lance ate up a good chunk of the budget.
