The giant carnivorous rabbits live in the programmer pit. I think it has something to do with so many programmers being named "Tim". Tech designers get the ill-tempered sea bass with the frickin' laser beams attached to their heads. I'm pretty sure it's a generational thing.

Just be wary of the producers. You don't want to know what goes on in those cubicles.

You just saved me a bunch of time, thanks. I will keep waiting until it gets fixed! Imported romance bugs are not enough to make me want to fire up a new game, but extra conversations with Varric, oh yeaaaaaaah! =D

I have done 2 runs w/ isabela<3 and never see the convo on 360..
hoorayoricecream, is it possible for you to tell me what did varric say about the romance w Bella??

Sorry about that, when I said via console, I meant the debug developer's console and not a PS3 or 360 game console. I can provide one better though, here's a video of the scene in question (spoilers, obviously).

Huh? Other companions have that too? 8D;; I only ever got isabela to take any notice on the LI's... Except for my latest playthrough I got varric saying something about anders.

So which companions want to talk about your LI's?

I never got this quest when romancing Fenris, but Isabela mentions the relationship with you (only cause she fancies Fenris too XD).

I only got the quest when I romanced Anders, you might get it with Merrill I don't know.

You don't when you romance Isabela, probably cause Isabela and Varric are good friends.

Sebastian as a relationship never gets mentioned by anybody. For all other relationships:

Isabela will comment on any other relationship besides her own.
Varric is supposed to comment on all relationships, but is currently bugged to only trigger for Anders, and very rarely Fenris.
Aveline briefly mentions Hawke's love interest during her romance with Donnic
Leandra briefly mentions Hawke's love interest if Hawke has initiated a romance before speaking with her when she talks about remarrying.
Gamlen will banter about Hawke's love interest in Act 3 if you click on him. He is evidently very curious and interested in the mechanics of two women together.

I'm far too lazy to try to get this to prompt on 360 since it "rarely" does for Fenris. Does anyone know what Varric says about him? I'm in Act 3 of my 6th playthrough and currently do have the energy to mess around with this. However, I'm oh-so curious!

Alright, I just tested to see if this conversation happens with Fenris, in the hope that it did. I did a Qunari Act 2 quest and have Fenris romanced, as well as Varric on full friendship and his companion quest done. Still hasn't triggered. Will just have to wait for the patch.

Bumping this back up again in hopes that Mary would be able to see this. This quest is still apparently not triggering, both on PC (1.03) or 360 (1.02).

Just pulling this thread up to add that I got this quest triggered properly and with the proper dialog for a Fenris romance yesterday when doing a new playthrough. It came up for me directly after completing All That Remains, actually. That seems a bit later than Mary suggested it should, but this is still the first playthrough I've had it come up in at all, and thought I should mention the change.

Seconded. All my Hawkes have a save that takes place just before Quentin (such a sad scene after all). Friendly Concern pops up every time. I have no idea if there's any other way to make it pop and I have little initiative to make a Hawke who doesn't romance someone before All That Remains.

It was very weird to see Isabela comforting Hawke after All That Remains, and then being talked to about Fenris.

Just loaded a save prior to fighting Quentin and the "Friendly Concern" popped up after "All That Remains". What's better, Varric correctly recognized Isabela as my LI, so it doesn't seem to be bugged for me.

Maybe try again on another character. That bug doesn't seem to happen to everyone. Might be just a glitch with your save.

I've had "Friendly Concern" pop up after the Qunari quest with that cow Petrice (you know, the one where Petrice betrays Ser Varnell) when I re-loaded my Rogue playthrough. She was romancing Fenris.

I have tried loading a number of saved games on different characters, and Varric's "Friendly Concern" still is not triggering for me. Even redid a few Qunari quests and Family Matters... no dice, no matter what I try. All of my playthroughs are Fenris romances. Bummer, as I can't even find a video of the conversation and my curiosity is killing me, now that I know this conversation exists!

(On xbox, just patched up this morning)

Update: Success! Finally got it to trigger by completing "All That Remains" on one of my playthroughs! So yes, definitely later than the criteria earlier indicated. Still, yay!

I was romancing Isabela, then romanced Merrill and turned down the move in option for her. And Varric thinks the same thing for me. I do have the option to tell him that the relationship is over. It might be something with assigning the ID codes for the characters when dealing with Isabela.

Does anyone know where the romance sections are for the save file (das)? I just want to edit it.
