Is this quest glitched?  I found all 5 tomes, took em all but the quest does not update.  It still says look for tomes in and out of kirkwall.  HELP

If you take the tomes the quest automatically ends but does not update properly. You are meant to destroy them to continue the quest. It's a bug and has been reported by many people including myself.

Conned out of another achievement like me?

Anyway, I've decided to play through again, destroy all 5 tomes, then destroy the 6th one

vega DON'T destroy the 6th tome. You can get 2 attribute/skill points. You are only required to destroy the first 5 so that you can kill Xebenkeck. Do that and you can grab the 2 attribute/skill points that the books offer you the first time you go to destroy them.

but maybe destroying it could be related to something in something later on in the series.
