1) Don't ever kill Lord Jierdan Firekraag before specifically asked to.
2) Yes. Your room in the Order is useless without mods.
The Question:
I killed Firekraag and returned to the taskgiver, my liason in tMNOotRH, sir William Reirrac. He is astounted by my
legendary feat and party gets whopping exp load.
Then he says, when spoken again, "I have nothing to report to you yet"
AND
Prelate of the Order says "I wait eagerly reports of your deeds"
All else (done quests) is done except "Gather the fee for Gaylen Bayle"x2 and Firekraag Himself
Is that it? I thought I would be knighted in record time? Sir [CHARNAME]?
(For Anomen it took couple years:P)

I succesfully did "Skirmish in Umar Hills" , "Baron needs help" and "Guard last of the Athkatla Morningales"

Yep, but won't they knight you for that? What you gotta do to get knighted, kill Demogorgon in single combat ?

Seriously: Can you be knighted [Any paladin class] in SoA or ToB? You can spoil freely. I have played both couple of times through.

Hope I not breaking the rules and that I understand your question. Yes, you can be knighted as a Paladin. Actually, you get knighted before you fight Fiirkaag. I normally play Paladin or LG Fighter or Cleric. Your first adventure as a knighted Paladin is to Umar Hills to fight some Ettins but you receive your knighthood in the aftermath of fighting thru the Windspear Hills and temple. There's a storyline there but I don't know how much would be too much so I'll just leave it at that.

No, it is good. I have done all the MNOotRH quests and fought Firekraag (and recovered Holy Avenger) after told to do so.
It is just, that I thought you would get the same seremony as Anomen and title Sir+[CHARNAME]
It's little depressing ending, if your supervisor just says: Aye, you have just slain a dragon, very nicely done. Now go clean my boots, you are not jed... knight yet.
