Can you give a gift to someone that came from Act II to them in Act III?
Is the dialogue any different?

Is that even possible? Gifts give you a quest in your log. Usually those end conflicts like that final confrontation with Aveline and the Arishock clears your quest log. Wouldn't that get rid of the gift you had?
