Fenris has been compared to a lot of anime and japanese game characters but I recently got Volume 0 and 1 of the DOGS series and...Fenris and Heine seem to be almost the exact same character. Has anyone else bought this up before?

lets start with looks
scruffy white mop of hair? Check
Wirey build? Check
Often frowning? Check
Large scars left from experiments? Check

Personality
Broody? Check
Has a violent disapproval of slavery stemming from personal experience? Check
Prone to rage? Check
Has problems living a life outside of their past? Check

Back story
Result of an experiment to make a living weapon? Check
Had foreign material surgically implanted into their body? Check
Escaped the scientists/mages? Check
Is hunted by people relating to the experiments? Check
Wants to kill scientist/mage responcilbe? Check
Is thematically linked to canines? Check (Fenris= Danarius's little wolf, Heine "Give us a little bark wont you?")

I even scanned some pictures, tell me this doesn't look like Fenris:

Heine being hounded by servants of the scientist who experimented on him

Heine attacking thugs sent to capture him

Taking up the slouched over pose

Showing the scars of the experiments

so far the biggest difference I can find is Fenris hates all mages while Heine has a phobia of women, being thouched by one girl seemed to send him into violent flashbacks.
Oh and Fenris uses a sword and Heine uses guns... yeah
