Hello all.

Not sure if this has been asked before or not. I have BG and Tales of the Sword Coast for the Mac. One day my HD died. I lost all data on that drive. To add to injury the HD that I had backed-up to also died. So all my saved games and characters are totally lost. Now to add icing on the cake. I don't use OS9 anymore and thus use OSX. Since both BG and ToTSC use and need OS9 to run. Is there any way to get these games running again under OSX? I guess I could try to find a good enough drive just to put OS9 for this and use the tutu method. I just would like to play this game again. I have and still play BG2 and mods including ToB.

Don't take my word for this but I'm pretty sure you can use bootcamp to boot OS9. I'd try googling that just to see. My cousin uses it all the time to play windows games on his mac, so even if you can't get it to boot OS9 you could try and boot to windows and play it there.

Thanks for the reply. BootCamp only adds non Mac OS's. The only way I see at this point is to get another drive and use my G3 iMac to instal OS9 and then add all the BG files and mods to it. Once that is done try to run TuTu and hope I did it all right and then see if my newer OSX will run it. So far I can run and play Icewind Dale fine so I hope to get a cheap drive for BG to play again.
