I just wanted to give the creators of this game a huge shout out. 

I guess I was in act III (I have no clue though) but, I am in the act where the Qunari have been quelled.

I got a quest to go to the bone pit and help.  I got in a fight with a huge dragon.  I am playing as a non-blood-mage mage that has generally been clicking the leaf in the dialog trees.  I went into this fight with Fenris, Aveline, and Varric.  It started out hella rough.  I am the only source of healing other than potions, and since I only have the one basic heal spell, I thought I was finished.  I have not been buying potions since the first act so I had about 9 healing pots.  After the dragon went up to his perch to cast fire bolts for the first time, my group was extremely low on mana/stamina/health.  I went into my bags and put random potions like elfroot potion (I had never used this before and there were like 11 of them), and restoration potions ( i think i had 3) on the task bar.

Well long story short, I managed to kill the dragon after about a 5-10 minute fight using the potions sparingly since there was no real healer.  I have to say that it was one of the most amazingly tuned fights I have played in a game.  I went from utter disbelief - to checking my inventory for help - to still utter disbelief - to thank god there is that mubari soaked fireball shot from that huge dragon that still has three quaters of its health- to I have to post how awesome that fight was on these forums.

I just wanted to say that the fight was tuned better then any fight in an rpg since Lady Vashj - for my particular space and time.
