Morrigan's fate in Witch Hunt import bug?

I imported my save from Witch Hunt and played about a quarter a way through the game. I imported the autosave at the end of Witch hunt after I let Morrigan enter the Eluvian

Then later on I was playing along with Gibbs Save game editor (program that creates save games file to import to Dragon Age 2).  When I was importing the save I created  using that program and looking at the plot summary. It said "The Warden Let Morrigan Travel Through The Eluvian"

This didn't appear in my legitimate save even though I did the same thing there. Does this mean that the game didn't read the choice I made at the end of Witch Hunt.

Does anyone else got their choices from Witch Hunt not appear in the plot summary or was it just me in this particular save game.

Also does it matter?

Does the choice with Morrigan has any affect on the game at all. I thought that if it was important enough to be mention in the plot summary (not all the choices you make were mention in the summary) then perhaps it does have an impact on the game (even if it is minor as I have heard that the choices in Origins have very limited impact on the story line of this game)

Should I just forget my game and start again with the Gibb's created save to ensure that it was done as I haven't exactly progress that far in the game or should I just dismiss that as a minor thing.

Also does the Gibbs editor leave anything out? Do I lose anything by using the Gibb's editor and not a legitimate save game as the gibb editor didn't exactly generate all the choices you made throughout the game (such as some of the side quest)

How did you save the game after Morrigan enters the eluvian? I thought witch hunt ends there with no end save and the last point you can save the game is before you talk to her? So it doesn't seem like the choice can be imported. Well, at least that's the case if you choose to go with her.

There is a save that was added in with the last patch for Origins. This fixed other issues with Witch Hunt like if you did the dark ritual with Morrigan originally it counted as you didn't in Witch Hunt. The patch fixed this and put a save after you make the final choice.

Um, there is no autosave after the end of witch hunt. At least not for me.

Edit: Oh, I guess I had the older version then.

It was the last Downloadable content(DLC) made for Origins which is based sometime after the main story of Origins where you find Morrigan again after the story of Origins.

Yeah, the autosave function doesn't say that for me either. It just says that there is unbroken eluvian in the wastes.

So does the choice to go through the eluvian have an effect on the conversation with Alistair in DA2? Because at the end of it Teagan says "the hero of Ferelden should be in Denerim by now" even though I went through the portal in the older version save.

No, but when I uploaded my save from Origins to Dragon Age 2 it did say that I had gone through the mirror with Morrigan. So maybe they're planning on it doing something in a future game.

Witch Hunt version 1.1
Witch Hunt version 1.1 is now available for the PC. This updated version contains the following changes:
  • When importing from a post-game save, your conversation with Morrigan in the Witch Hunt module will properly reflect the choices you made in Dragon Age Origin's "Dark Ritual" plot.
  • The game will automatically save after Witch Hunt's final cutscene.
This new version can be downloaded from your Entitlements page on the Dragon Age social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php).
To install Witch Hunt version 1.1:
  • Log in to your Entitlements page on the Dragon Age social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php) using the same account you used to purchase Witch Hunt.
  • Find Witch Hunt in the list of Titles and click the More Info link for your platform.
  • Right click on the download link and select "Save Target As", or the equivalent in your browser. Save the .dazip file to your computer. If your browser tries to rename it to a .zip file, rename it back to .dazip after download.
  • Find the daupdater.exe application. It is usually located under \\bin_ship in your Dragon Age folder (for example C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daupdater.exe). Double click on it to open it.
  • Click on "Select DAZIPs". Navigate to where you have saved the .dazip file and open it.
  • Now the .dazip file will appear on the Install tab. Select it on the list and click "Install Selected."
  • Once the installation is complete, you can return to your Witch Hunt playthrough wherever you left off. Morrigan will now respond correctly to your choices in the Dark Ritual plot and a savegame file will automatically be created at the module's end.
We are also working on a stand-alone installer, which can be used to install the update from Windows without using the DAUpdater utility. We will let you know when this install method is available.
Thank you for playing Dragon Age: Origins and the Witch Hunt DLC Add-on!

So from what I can gather to get the updated version of Witch Hunt you have to download it again.

I guess I'll have to play through the end of witch hunt again then.

Hmm, could what Teagan says also mean that the warden is already back from where ever he and Morrigan went?

He doesn't say the Hero (least not in mine.. but I was dead, so that could be why) he says the Gray Wardens... and Alistar replys "Probably to ask me more questions. Goody." or something like that.

Ah ok.. its DLC. I never put more money towards DAO, so that would be why I don't have that. I don't have the return to Ostagar or the Gray Keep or whatever quests ither. Guess I am missing out on some things..

Well mine went through the mirror with Morrigan. So unless he came back later. Or possibly Witch Hunt is supposed to be set at a later time than when that happened. Either that or it's a plot hole.

From dragon age wiki's witch hunt plot description (though I don't know where they got it from):
"More than two and a half years have passed since the death of the Archdemon and the Blight's end..."

Meeting Alistair in DA2 is about four years after the blight? I guess witch hunt could take place after that. Four is more than two and a half...

Well then it's either a plot hole, it could be they didn't want to create to many variations on what he could say or maybe they just forgot. Or perhaps even after going through the mirror the character from the first game came back from wherever it is that he ended up.

We don't really know how many years have passed when the Warden meets Morrigan again.

One of the devs has already stated that DA2 does not yet pick up save imports for Witch Hunt (I also imported a auto save from Witch Hunt were my Warden went through the mirror but is still expected back in Denerim several years later)

But I'm guessing BioWare is either A. patching it in later, B. making a expanion pack/DLC which uses the Witch Hunt imports. Or C. going to completely dismisses Witch Hunt imports altogether, which would be extremely annoying; and in hindsight make the DLC a bit of a waste of money.

No, I don't believe it was fixed. Not sure if there's anything you can do for PS3. Sorry.
