───────
Sandal:[/b] One day the magic will come back - all of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part and the skies will open wide.
Bodahn:[/b] Huh? What's this?
Sandal:[/b] When he rises, everyone will see. (could be the return off the maker and Andraste the bride of the maker)
Bodahn:[/b] By the ancestors! What has gotten into you, my boy?
Sandal:[/b] Enchantment!
Bodahn:[/b] That's more like it!

Sandle is The Maker, Andraste, Old God Baby, Dumat, Flemeth and that red haired kid from Lothering. Calling it now.

Lol, my guess is that Sandal is that agent/spy/companion that Varric talks about in the beginning, that Flemeth sends to those she believes are interesting to her. Think about it. He's in strange places that are obviously way too dangerous. If you engage in a conversation with him at some midpoint in DA2 he says that he doesn't like the lady that laughs at the end of the bed or something because she's scary. And other things...

I still haven't gotten that line though I've tried like crazy...gotten the one with the lady with scary laugh though. I kinda thought the next game would be centered in Orlais since that was where Bodhain and Sandal were headed next...seems that where ever they go...the Dragon age game world is sure to follow.

I seriously doubt they'd make us play a Chantry agent when so many people are vehemently anti-Chantry now. It'd just be bad business because a lot of people wouldn't buy it. Just a bleh idea that someone who doesn't choke on bile upon seeing a Chantry robe.

I haven't gotten this quote either, and I've spam-clicked Sandal on several different characters at different points in the game... when exactly does he say it?

I don't know... Some of Gaider's comment in the 'is Leliana anti-mage' tread makes me fear that he doesn't get the anti-chantry thing... and they are making an anime for the seekers - Bioware seems to like that organisationPosted Image
I just hope that if we are forced to play seeker we can betray the chantry from inside (nothing can do damage like and inside betrayer) and that it isn't automatically assumed that our character love the chantry, like it sometimes seems to be assumed that the warden loved Fereldan even if s/he was dalish or dwarf.

I can see them making us play a seeker.   If a player is pro-mage that would suck.

Could it be possible that Sandal is referring to the OGB when he says "when he rises" ? Morrigan's child is suppose to be male and nothing has been mentioned about his whereabouts. Maybe a future installment will shed light on his role in the greater events that are playing out in Thedas. With Corypheus released and the upcoming confict between the mages and the Chantry, the OGB could possibly become a power player. All in all, Sandal is becoming an interesting reoccuring character.

Edit: Well I have discovered that the OGB is not canon, so scratch my theory. Sandal may be referencing a future character not yet introduced in the two previous installments.
