I know this is an extremely minor thing that probably shouldn't be even mentioned as there is a sea of other things, but I thought Origins had an truly epic soundtrack which I actually liked, while DA2's was a bit more generic background music. I am quite sure that even 10 years in the future, I will still instantly recognize that Origins theme.
If you have played both games, which soundtrack did you like better?

Origins. I went back to it after playing DA2 and just the music on the main menu of DAO is amazing. It's that elvish tune that really makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up during the final cutscenes...

DA:O 100 times out of 100. Didn't even notice the music in DA2. The DA:O soundtrack had songs like Lelianas song, Love song and I'm the one = Epic.
And the creator of the soundtrack (Inon Zur) in both games said that the DA2 music was not good enough since the game was rushed.

I think DAO music is equally as "ambient" as it was in DA2, but if I had to pick one, it would be DAO, for the menu music, and Leliana's Song.
