Well based upon the fact I enjoyed Origins (and all DLC) I went ahead and purchased the exiled prince DLC the day the game was released. Should have waited for an ultimate edition for DA2. Exiled Prince was very, very short. Adds to the disappointment. Live and learn no more pre-orders or DLC until lots of reviews are out.

Could have waited and bought DA2 in the bargain bin for a lot less.

I will.

There were alot of questions and plotholes that left me wanting.

Hopefully the DLC that will be released will fill in some of that.

I recently got the GOTY edition of DA:O; I had Awakening before that, but I finally got to try some of the DLC, and if that is anything to go by I won't get any DLC for DA2 unless the reviews for each are golden.

I'm a huge fan of the game, so of course I'll be buying the DLC.

My only BUT is that they don't make anything resembling The Darkspawn Chronicles. And I really didn't like Golems of Agmarrak either (would have been a million times better if your companions from Origins or Awakening were there instead of a Bronto, a generic dwarf and your dog.). I want DLC that adds to the experience of playing the game. I dig Return to Ostagar, Warden's Keep. And even Leliana's song is a really lovely story. Adding one more companion wouldn't hurt. (Something like Shale. You know, you could just make it Shale...)

My point: Bioware, make it worthwhile. I really think the best DLC they could make would be an Act 4. This isn't a knock on game....but the cliffhanger shouldn't be the last thing people hang onto while waiting for DA 3. Need a little more closure. A bigger "omph!" so to speak. Flesh what we have out some more. More character, more story that counts, etc.

I think I'm done after my first playthrough.

I am interested in DA3, but will not be preordering it this time. If most (or even better, all) of the common complaints are addressed, and the game shifts back to the RPG side of the gaming spectrum, I would happily shell out the full price for it after release. If it stays a half-baked adventure game with some minor RPG elements, then I may not purchase it at all, or wait until it's deeply discounted (or grab a used copy).

Really like the game, so yes.

Although I hope it's an improvement on the woeful Witch Hunt.

Yes, but only if it interests me, using the same evaluation criteria as I did for DAO DLCs.

For the record, I didn't buy every DAO DLC. Only Warden's Keep and Witch Hunt. Stone Prisoner came with my Collector's Edition.

Maybe - the years that weren't covered by Varric after part two seem made for a DLC - as long as it is in a new area I might buy.

Yuppers (outside of appearance packs). I don't have all the DLC for DAO yet, but I plan on getting that polished off soon.

No dlc for me. The past quality of Bioware dlc has disappointed when compared to the old expansions they used to do. To be honest I only got the game as a fluke as a friend wanted to flog his copy unopened after playing at a 3rd friends. I was going to wait for a GOTY or some thing cheap as I did not rate it.

*sigh* What gets me is people wanting to buy things that should of been in the game in the first place.

Only way I'll get DLC's for DA2 is if they are free, to make up such a poor average game of DA2.

Yeah, I'm going to let BioWare sell the me the actual ending and prove to them that I'm ripe for exploitation and that they should continue cutting corners. Why not?

I might buy, depends on reviews from forum members here, reviews from gaming websites are just a opinion from one member. Plus they can be bribed to give better reviews.

Forum members here are honest, atleast i trust them to speak their minds. I failed to take in the fact that Pinnacle station sucked, i brought it and regret it. I should of listened to the warnings.

My first playthrough, I got about 80 hours of entertaining game. I'm not going to cry about spending 60 bucks for that much content. I'm also a realist. People WANTED Dragon Age 2 to come out quickly. They were salivating for it. The reality is that a year and a half isn't enough time to GO BIG and so we got a more intimate story that could be done in the alloted time.

If they take their time on the DLC to expand parts of the game, great.

But unlike so many of you, I don't feel cheated out of my money. And I'm fine giving Bioware more time to make the game better by spending 7-10 dollars on new content. This is the way of the future. You can scream and cry and moan or look at it from a realistic perspective and buy the DLC or not. I can only speak for myself, but I've wasted 10 bucks on worse things in my life that I got zero enjoyment out of.

Would like to say yes, but if DLC isnt different from the designs of DA2, i just might scream.

If they use recycled maps for DLC after all the notoriety they received in DA2, ill be convinced the dev team took none of the feedback seriously are persisting in recreating all the faults and mistakes made in DA2.

Better start doing vocal exercises then DLC is likley already made months ago and just going to be released on a schedule.

One of the Mods revealed that some of the Dev team are working on DLC right now, with others working on the patch, some on holiday and some lurking. (He didn't say where they were lurking...so keep an eye out at night just in case :bandit:)
