Anyone going buy DA2 DLC

I'm hoping they can turn a new leaf with Dragon Age 2 and put a lot more effort into their post release support and content. It will go a long way towards making the customers believe they truly care about the game and aren't just mindless EA drones.
I've never been a big fan of purchasing DLCs, but if they can change my perception of their company and then release some content heavy DLC, I'll consider buying it. If they continue to be slow on patch fixes, and too quick to release buggy software, I wont consider buying it.

Well based upon the fact I enjoyed Origins (and all DLC) I went ahead and purchased the exiled prince DLC the day the game was released. Should have waited for an ultimate edition for DA2. Exiled Prince was very, very short. Adds to the disappointment. Live and learn no more pre-orders or DLC until lots of reviews are out.
Could have waited and bought DA2 in the bargain bin for a lot less.
On that point, at lunchbreak today I went to buy a new printer for home. The game shop nxt door was selling Bioware Signature Editions (new) for £19.99! The Standard Edition was £14.99. Both for xbox here in the UK. WHAT?? A) I thought Sig Ed's were supposed to be pre-order only and
I find that a bit of a slap in the face to be honest. I pre-ordered at such a price because I thought I was getting something I couldnt buy on the High Street. Its just a massive scam. It is not just this one shop. Four major cities in the north have Sig Eds for sale, which leads me to think they'll be everywhere.
When my son told his mate over live after school, his mum phoned me askin if i would pick one up. I reluctantly agreed, though its going to be a difficult experience tomorrow. Way to go EA!

It's useless to give me missions that only add to the playtime of a normal playthrough, if I already beaten the game several times by the time it releases.

The big problem, however, is I can't see myself playing DA2 again after this playthrough, ME2 was absolutely stellar and it's DLC raised the bar as to what a player can expect from DLC, but I only bought them because I wanted more ME2. DA:O's DLC wasn't anywhere near as high-quality but it was competent, and like ME2 I wanted to play more DA:O.
I can't say the same for DA2.

Would like to say yes, but if DLC isnt different from the designs of DA2, i just might scream.
If they use recycled maps for DLC after all the notoriety they received in DA2, ill be convinced the dev team took none of the feedback seriously are persisting in recreating all the faults and mistakes made in DA2.
Better start doing vocal exercises then DLC is likley already made months ago and just going to be released on a schedule.
One of the Mods revealed that some of the Dev team are working on DLC right now, with others working on the patch, some on holiday and some lurking. (He didn't say where they were lurking...so keep an eye out at night just in case)

I doubt I'll be buying any more DA2 DLC. I actually enjoyed Sebastian's quest and the gear was good, but Sebastian himself is just sheer rubbish - he's like a nerfed version of Varric.

That's how I feel. I can replay ME2 several times over. DA2 didn't give me the same motivation.

For Dragon Age II, I'm more skeptical. I liked it enough to play once, but it all depends on the significance of the DLC. If it's somewhat plot-important, lore-intense, or fills in some gaps then I'm more likely to buy it. If it involves frivolous amounts of items, I have enough of those from pre-ordering and subscribing to things. If it has new areas--meaning not just redecorated--and adds some depth, then I will most likely purchase.
Basically, this time around I'll be waiting on reviews.

I am tempted to, I really am. However after spending nearly all game trying to romance (spoiler) and she barely talks to me. I'm not sure if I am ready for another playthrough even with DLC in mind. The DLC would have to feature the same companions but a more in depth interaction with them. (I would pay if they had more lines) Perhaps I will replay DAO orgins again.
I don't know: I was completely disappointed by DA:O's DLCs post publication (Warden's Peak and The Stone Prisoner were good and honest DLC, especially the second one). Recycled areas/enemies and even cutscene. Paper thin stories, charachters and roleplaying. No depth about story and lore. Bugs after bugs. Glitches after glitches. Witch Hunt was a complete disaster that do not close anything, just a big money grab.
Honestly, I wasted a lot of money on a low quality product line and I feel someway cheated. A comparison with ME2's DLC (LotSB is the best DLC of last year imho) puts the DA:O's one to shame and since they costed mostly the same, one should ask himself if they think that we are all a bunch of stupid.
So, since I do not want to be cheated again, I will wait for reviews before I decide to buy a DA2 dlc or not and I will buy them only if the response is very_very_very positive (LotSB like, I mean).

That's odd, who were you trying to romance but would barely talk to you? I got a great deal of dialogue out of every romance option I pursued. (and even the one non-romance option) I can only guess you didn't take them on enough, or the right missions? Even the one person I would have liked to romance, but couldn't, gave me a lot of interaction and while that story ends up bitter-sweet, as unrequited affection goes, it was still interesting and I still ended up being very good friends with said person.
As for DLC, it depends upon the content - naturally - but I would LIKE TO buy it, if the quality and content seem interesting.

It takes years of good work to build up a reputation but only moments to destroy it if you start using your reputation as a quality game maker as a means of cashing in quickly by releasing half baked games. You wil make nice profits in the short term but lose any long term viability as you have destroyed the trust of your primary client base in your products. This is what EA has done with DA2...spending the reputation capital of Bioware to boost their short term balance sheet because they knew the legions of DAO fans would buy any DA sequel that came out. Unfortunately for EA this is not something you can do more than once or twice before the customers wise up and start taking a wait and see atitude with every game you release. So from now on I will be waiting to see how their subsequent games turn out before spending my hard earned cash on them.

I actually like the combat and the companions in this game, but it annoys me that there's such a limited number of settings and reused maps to enjoy them in.
If a DLC can somehow rectify that with new maps and areas, then I might try it.

I'm a sucker for story DLCs but most of the cosmetic and seasonal stuff I pass on. Mind you new companion armors I might get if the cost was reasonable enough.

NO, I bought all the DLC for the original DA except for the substandard Witch one, and all the available content for Mass Effect 2, but I will not be encouraging them to keep making bad console oriented games for the PC by purchasing anything at all for DA2. If there is ever a DA3 I won't be pre-purchasing it either and will probably not pre-puchase any game this new EA influenced Bioware makes from now on. In all probability I will also not hop on the Star Wars MMO bandwagon right away either as I was planning to do before this fiasco of a game was released.
