I'm not sure yet about DLC. The wife bought me DA2 as a suprise gift, and despite my strong misgivings at first, the game is growing on me. If I enjoy the game and the DLC is good, then I may go for it.

Sure, as long as it works correctly and really adds more story in as well as opens up more of what was mentioned in the ending.

I'll buy it the day that it's out.

I'm looking forward to the continuation of this excellent game!

I used to buy every DLC from Bioware that came out. But after the release of DA2, I'm going to think twice before I purchase anything Bioware again...

maybe I don't know I didn't get a lot of the download quests for the first game and skipped the big expansion as well

If there is anything as big as Awakenings, then yes.

A companion based DLC, don't know yet, none of them really appealed to me, except for Bethany.
(Bioware stop messing with my family!)

Not only am I not getting any of the DLC, but Ive just completelly stopped playing the game altogether until a patch for the console versions is released. As it stands right now, it feels more like Dragon Age: New Vegas than Dragon Age II.

Well, my first and only (yet) playthrough was bug-free, so I guess I will buy DLC to see the full story.
P.S. I realize that I got lucky, hated Isabella and Sebastian...

Hell yes, I'd even pay the full price of a game for some DA2 DLC! That is how much I crave more content for this superb work of art.

I'm not sure if you're serious or sarcastic, but that's how I truly feel... I want more Dragon Age and will buy any DLC anyway.
After all, if something frustrates me I can always start a rage thread on this forum. To get it off my chest.

Well i dont know if i will buy DLC for the game. But I will most likely just wait until the Ultimate Edition of the game. I did enjoy DA2 very much but it has its flaws and id rather them start on DA3 and not make the same mistakes they did in DA2.

Buying DLC just to get more of the 10 year story just seems to solidify that this endeavor was simply made as a cash cow. It means I paid $60 for only part of the story and that is depressing as hell. So no, I won't be paying for further DLC. This should ****** people off to be honest.

I probably will buy DLC provided it isn't something like "Darkspawn Chronicles"--that it actually adds to Hawke's story in some way.

You know what I'd LOVE to see for the first DLC? An introductory section that takes place before the main game where you actually get to live in Lothering as Hawke, develop relationships with your parents and siblings, see your father die, etc. THAT would be AWESOME.

Actually, having DLC like that where you visit the early lives of most or all of the companions would be pretty sweet IMO, like maybe you're all telling your stories at the bar some night.

Unlikely, I can't imagine what they might add as DLC though. Certainly not if it's appearance packs or weapons. More side quests, still probably not since the ending is still set in stone.

I'd like this too.  Its how I'd prefer to have seen the game begin.

Probably because I enjoy the combat and hopefully the story elements will be better.

I won't buy all of them. I didn't buy DC, Golems or Leliana's Song for origins.

I might if it makes the game longer and adds more events, perhaps even changing some stuff in the game, they could pretty much do that. Perhaps after the ending of the original forced plot that we had.

I'd like "before the beginning" and "after the end" DLC, not sure whether I'd care for them shoving more stuff in the middle, though.  It'd just make the main game take longer to finish without really adding anything except maybe a few more items and xp.

This is an EXCELLENT idea. I hope Bioware is reading. Kind of like Leliana's Song.

Leliana's song was a waste of dlc though, you learned all you can from her when you talk to her in camp and she mentions Marjolaine. Though the companions were interesting. The dlcs for Kirkwall should really be about Hawke's time in Ostagar(If he is a warrior or rogue) and then him running to Lothering and I guess some fights going there before they are able to escape, or a Mage Hawke learning to control his abilities and hide amongst the common folk. If there is a dlc of our time in Ostagar if we played as warrior or rogue, we should be able to see our warden, that would be awesome. Then add some dlcs of what happens after we are out from the deep roads, how we get the mansion, how we pay our debts if we have any, now that would of been more interesting, instead of just skipping the years. If they didn't skip the years, this game could easily top a 100 hours or so.
