Yes. More so than DLC though I would like to see an expansion pack.

In short no. Voting with my walled I don't like the direction that DA2 took the franchise.

exactly - I just want them to release a patch so I can actually finish my playthrough correctly and trade the game in before the trade in value drops...

Yes.

I wouldn't replay the game for any mid-campaign stuff until after it's patched (what I'm waiting for before I get the Sebastian dlc (getting sick of not seeing [No spoilers]'s cameo yet..)). But post-campaign dlc I'd buy straight away.

Probably yes, but definitely not before the first big patch is released.

Depends what the DLC is. If its a feastday pack then probably not, if its a solid story like Leliana's and the other good ones then yes.

depends on the depth of the content. if it's crap like weapons or armor, then no.

If it's quest and adventure dlc, then yes. As for armour packs etc, I never bother with those, for any game. Dragon Age 2, with it's Immigrant's Story approach, I've found really refreshing, and it being possessed of genuinely 'adult' themes (in the best sense of the word), I've found to be really involving. I'm getting a bit long in the tooth now, so I really need adventures that appeal to the adult me, rather than yet another Jesus Christ Saves The World plot so beloved of the conservative end of RPG fandom - and Metacritic posters..............

Gaming companies have no reason to make expansion packs with gamers willingly paying $7.50 to $10 multiple times for much smaller DLC's.

I wouldn't call that a solid story. It just took the plot points that her side-quests from Origins already said and then padded them out with random mobs. All the Origins DLC got terrible reviews, Leliana's Song getting one of the better Metacritic scores of the lot (66/100 for the PC version) so I hope any future DA2 DLC learns from the errors of the Origins stuff and gives us something that feels like new content rather than re-using the areas from the main game and just adding about 10 minutes of dialogue in, like the Origins DLC did.

By contrast, Lair of the Shadow Broker got 87/100 on Metacritic and it's noticeable that not only was the plot a new addition rather than retreading old ground, it also had new areas and new gameplay elements. It felt like a mini-expansion pack rather than something a fan made in a week.

I already returned my copy but wouldn't even if I still had the game, because it's probably just going to be part of the main plot.

More button mashing and visiting the same cave for 5-10 bucks. I learned my lesson.

Depends, I'm on the mindset of buying it, but I am going to wait some days and read some both fan and critics reviews before I get it, if there are more recycled environments (ala Return to Ostagar) I doubt I'll buy it.
Certainly DA2 has been a nice wake up call for me regarding this particular franchise.

Like with all DLC, it depends on the package. If it's a story DLC integrated into the main storyline, offers new locations, I'll likely get it.

But before that there needs to be a patch. If they can offer customer service, we can talk about future purchases, simple as that.

no way in hell i would purchase a dlc at this rate. not until they FIX ginormous amount of glitches and bugs in the game. unrelated, but interestingly, i heard EA blew it with medieval sims as well. yep, EA, learned my lesson, don't buy their games at launch anymore.

my money's on dynasty warriors 7. cause when i buy a mindless hack and slash game, i get just that, a mindless hack and slash. with da2, i expected ...more rpg, . and less bugs.

Will it actually be professionally play tested instead of shoved out like the rest of the pre-release crap? I'm looking at you, still-unpatched maker's sigh.

Not a chance.

This game is such a huge disappointment after DA:O and Awakenings that I can hardly motivate myself to even play it, let alone add to the pain.

No. I can hardly continue the main game, I'm stuck somewhere after Hawke gets rich (not stuck because of any difficulty but because of boredom) why would I want more of it?

Story Related: Absolutely (as long as it's not something in line with Golems of Amgarrak, which I did not enjoy)
New items/appearance: Probably not. Not worth it, especially not if the community manages to create new item mods for it by themselves, which they definitely will eventually.

I really do hope BioWare focuses more on post-campaign quests or the gap between the different acts for DA2 DLCs.
