Absolutely. But only content related DLC (Companions, quests etc.). No item DLCs. I'll use Mods for that.

If it has the quality and quantity of Lelianas song then yes. If it is some stupid item or companion appearance DLC then no.

It will depend on the type offered. If it is something that adds to the main campaign, doesn't use yet more recycled areas (beyond the use of existing locations), and maybe a character, then likely (doesn't have to be all of those, but adding to the campaign and not using recycled areas are a must if they want more of my cash).

I am tempted to, I really am. However after spending nearly all game trying to romance (spoiler) and she barely talks to me. I'm not sure if I am ready for another playthrough even with DLC in mind. The DLC would have to feature the same companions but a more in depth interaction with them. (I would pay if they had more lines) Perhaps I will replay DAO orgins again.

Short answer is yes I will. I have currently all the dl content from Origins and the expansion Awakenings as well as the 2 dl content piecs available for DA 2.

I might consider a full expansion, provided it's reasonably-priced. But even then I'll wait for reviews. No single DLC's, tho even for DAO (a good game) I was only interested in a couple they released. I think the rest is just milking a cow, and I refuse to be the cow.

I'd buy anything except pranks and horse armour.

Buy DA2 DLC? U mad bro?
Wait for Ultimate Edition.

Did you see how much awakening cost on release, for the UK psn?
£37.99. For an expansion. And it wasn't released on disc for ps3 here, so it was the only option.

To reply to the OP.

Yes.  Hundreds of thousands of people will pay to download DLC for DA2.

Depends on if it's content I want or not, it's not something I can simply answer with a yes or a no.

LOL. This!

But I as I very much enjoyed the game I would probably purchase it even if that wasn't featured - I got all of the ME2 DLC which I am thankful for because the DLC was the best part of that game. I like to have everything, gotta collect 'em all  ;)

Will depend on what the DLC is more than anything else.

More feastday gifts? Um, no.
New Companion outfits? Only if they're spectacular
More adventure? Most likely.

As much as I support the game, I believe I won't buy DLC for reasons I explained in another thread some time ago :

nijnij wrote...
Like many people I suppose, most people perhaps, I bought Dragon Age Origins pretty much when it was new, which means at its highest price (49.99 €). Which is normal. I also got two free pieces of DLC (Stone Prisoner and Blood Dragon Armor) for buying it on Steam. Again, fair deal.

A while back, Bioware released the Dragon Age Origins ultimate edition, which also costs 49.99 € but contains every other DLC and the expansion. I would have liked to play all this content (and still would), but buying the whole package when I already have the biggest portion of it seems like a waste. Then again, if I buy the content I'm missing separately (= 29 € worth of DLC + the 20 € expansion), the price is the same, 49 €.

That means whatever happens, I get my "114 $ worth of content" for... 98 € (= 135 $ !!).

Now, here is my question : how come the people who bought the game before everyone else, and therefore, probably allowed for the release of the Ultimate edition in the first place, still have to pay their DLC full price, while a cheaper edition is now available for those who skipped on the game ? Wouldn't it be logical for DLC prices to go down as well by now ? Seems to me it would be fair at least. Why priviledge the skeptical over the fans ?

If I get Dragon Age 2 new (and I probably will), I pay more than the people who will buy it in a year. It is normal since in a year, the game won't be "the new $#!t" anymore. However, the DLC will still be as expensive, while people who waited long enough to get the ultimate edition or whatever the new package will be called will also get the DLC for cheaper. Isn't that somewhat unfair ?

There were some interesting reactions so I'm linking the thread here (for those interested).

They should make the DLC playable during the campaign (like in ME2).

I was just thinking about this today. As the days go by I realize how DA2 is so forgetable. With the ME series I kept playing repeatedly, finishing several playthroughs.

Unless they come up with something substantial like the 3 years missing from the game, I'm not buying any DLC.

Quite possibly, though it will depend on the content. I will not likely buy "costume change" DLC, but if it adds to the story and overall quality of the game, then absolutely.

I wouldnt be able to resist even if I wanted to im afraid. As soon as the content becomes available I have to try it out whether good or bad. Cant help it. However, I am quitely looking forward to the DA2 dlc thats to come. I hope they give us better quality than some previous DA dlc though.

All I can do is pay my money and hope for the best. Maybe have a grumble in the relevant threads when its bad or doesnt work properly or sometimes both the case of some DA:O dlc. Im happy to give BW the benefit of the doubt because faults aside, their games are in a league of their own IMO.
