DA2 isn't the best game out there, but it was a "good" game. I liked it, it has replay value. I sure got my money's worth. I'm disappointed in some things, but amazed at others they did. I don't regret buying it. I will buy DLC, if they look interesting.
Anyone going buy DA2 DLC

I will buy DLC if it isn't poorly reviewed and if the game's technical issues (lack of auto-attack, endless bug list) are patched in a reasonable manner (i.e. the patches actually solve lots of issues without introducing new bugs and having to be recalled, and arrive in a reasonable timeframe, not many months after release as was the case with DA:O).
In other words, I probably won't be buying any DLC.

I won't know if I'm going to buy the DLC untill it's announced.
Well. Actually, I take that back. If it's weapon and armor DLC, I very probably will not. I wasn't very impressed with the 1Day DLC items, which all lost relevance by mid way through the second Act. I'll have to be wowed by new weapon and armor DLC to considered buying it.
But stuff like Return to Ostagar, Leliana's Song, and Witch Hunt I am more likey to buy. At the very least I'll read the announcements, and make decisions then.

If the technical difficulties for the base game are ironed out by the time w/e DLC releases, the DLC lasts longer than an hour, and it dosen't take place in the same 4 areas..... Maybe.

Depends on the DLC. If it's like Origins' no, if it's like ME's, yes.

Provided the DLC introduces new unique areas rather than merely re-using the existing ones. And the new areas it does introduce need to be expansive enough that they themselves are not excessively re-used either. At least not to the ridiculous degree this is done in DA2 now.
I'm not holding my breath.

Not a chance in hell. I didn't cancel my pre-order in the end but £25 is all the money they are getting from for this game
No expansions/DLC or anything for me. I would rather play Origins again in all honesty.

It seems rather silly to say yes or no without even knowing what we're saying yes or no to
. I hope we have a lot of cool DLC to choose from, I bought almost all the DAO DLC (and yes, the DC one was quite the letdown, but most of the DAO DLC was really good), I'd say theres a strong possibility that I'll once again buy most of the DLC for DA2, but just like before I'm gonna judge it on a case by case basis. Hopefully they'll take their inspiration from the amazing LotSB DLC for ME2, thats gotta be the greatest DLC ever in the history of DLC, certainly if all of DA2's DLC is as good as that one I'll definitely buy them all

Not this time...unless it's a big expansion or something..I'll be giving the DLC a miss.

I'll consider it. Depends on what they offer. I didn't buy the gift packs or Darkspawn Chronicles for DAO, and I only bought Golemns like last month and still haven't finished it. I liked DA2 so I'm open to the idea of story DLC--doubt I'd have much interest in weapons or clothing.

I don't like the direction they have taken Dragon Age, and the direction they continue to push Dragon Age (see ML interview) so no. I won't buy the third game either, however I will give it a fair look, if they fix the game, I might rent it, if not, I won't have wasted my money a second time.

I'm certainly interested in what DLC may be offered.

When playing through the game I had the distinct feeling that elements such as the Profane, the Ancient Thaig, the Lyrium McGuffin and the looming Qunari invasion were only introduced with the direct objective of being worked into DLC at a later point.
I have a dislike for DLC in general and how publishers have discovered they can sell a game back to the consumer piecemeal, doubling their profits in the process. Besides, none of the above mentioned elements were explored enough for me to care about how they play out.

Not likely. I bought two for DAO and regretted it... have low expectations they will improve much for DA2 DLC, as the subsequent DLCs for DAO never really improved either.
I did buy all the content DLC for mass effect 2 however, as it was done right... new locales, good amounts of new dialogue.. it was DLC done right.
However, if I hear from the community that the DLC for DA2 somehow turns out to be genuinely well done, then I will of course consider trying it... but DAO DLC has left me sour on any DLC from the Dragon Age team.

Nope I don't buy EA DLC.
I can figuratively see the DLC content creators at EA adding baking soda into the code.

Absolutely NO. I couldn't finish the game. And of course i'm not going to buy DA3, i'm very disappointed with the changes, this brick is not a RPG.

While I was somewhat disappointed with DA2, I do plan on buying the DLC. I'm a sucker for Bioware, what can I say?

I think he's going to get his own (meaning an extention that Hawke plays) dlc that will either build off of his story if someone got him as dlc or introduce him to people who didn't.Joshd21 wrote...

Not if you didn't buy the DLC at the start of the game, which starts at act (spoiler) the one that comes standred with the CE. I'm not entirely sure that he is worth the ten bucks. Looking back at Orgins, the DLC costed maybe 4-8 bucks and shale costed 10 bucks but he was worth the money

To answer the OPs question, yes. I will probably but all of the dlc they put out as long as it ties into the story - no Darkspawn or Leli.

For me, they would have to fix the "post game save" having an empty storage chest first !!!
