Many feel as he did. I got halfway through my second playthrough before I lost interest.
Yet, it was your "second" playful. Many do not feel as he does.
Oh gawd I have such a great retort but It'd probably get me banned D:
So no, you are completely and utterly wrong. Lern 2 look around the interwebs. The majority of people are dissappointed with the game. The Minorites are the senseless haters and bashers and the people who love the game and thinks it's perfect because Bioware made it. I primarily post on Gamefaqs/Gamespot forums. And there are just as many people upset with the game there as here.
And the only way I could start a second playthrough was with the No restrictions mod, a Save editor to change the Origins import options and using the console to multiclass. Even with all that I lost interest in the game.
No, you are utterly wrong. Where's your statistics, bud? Check my other post, I've already done the math more than once for people, the average user rating for DA2 usually comes out to 7/10.
Here's an example:
On Metacritic, 2178 PC users give a combined score of 4.8, on GameSpot.com 2662 PC users give a combined score of 7.2.
2662 (Majority) > 2176 (Minority)
Your own logic fails you.
I don't normally respond to sensless trolls. But no matter where you go there are more that are critical of the game then praising it, even if you go to online retailers like Amazon.com , out of over 130 reviews of the game it only gets 2 1/4 stars. Were there good points to the game yes, but in mine and many others opinions the game failed on to many levels in comparison to Origins. Bottom line for me Origins was Epic in scope, size of world, story, character development, immersion, and gameplay. Where DA2 felt more like a thrown together expansion instead of a full game of an real epic sequel to follow after the path of Origins.
Thanks" Planed scaped" for responding in my defense

People like you are pathetic. "sensless troll" because I provided evidence that disproved your point?
Plain pathetic. Whether or not the game was good is an opinion as is, many disagree that it was a bad game just as much as people agree it was. So, if you fail too much to be able to sensibly argue, then yes, I will resort to trolling, as that will be the limit to your comprehension.
Disagreeing with you, and backing it up with evidence, is not trolling. It's being capable of having a debate.
Now, Dragon Age II has recieved less positive reviews than Dragon Age: Origins, however, it "has received mostly positive reviews." Mostly positive reviews mean that the majority disagree with you. I can prove this many times over to you, as it has been proved many times before on this thread.
Just admit you are wrong, the majority disagree with you. Albeit it is not as commonly rated as well as Dragon Age II, the majority of reviews are postive.
Contest this, if you must. This conversation is only a mirror of several others on this forum, and I hate to tell you, your side always lost. =)

I HOPE they'll be substantial and add a lot of content.
I'm AFRAID they'll just be charging $8 to fight another 300 waves of enemy goons and teleporting mages (no teleportation in Thedas awesomeface.jpg) to have a single 2 minute conversation with an NPC.

Yes, I'm going to buy DA2 DLC and I can't wait to see what they offer up. The first moment I hear of a female Qunari companion I'll already be sold on at least one of the packs, lol. Come on BioWare, get with some minor details at least!
Make her romancable and I'd buy it. OK BIOWARE, JUST TAKE ALL MY MONEY. GODDAMN.

I plan on buying most/ all DLC released, just like with Origins. I like the story and I like the characters, why wouldn't I?

yeah that's probably what I'll do aswell, might buy a DLC if it's actually good. Hopefully they have a patch before the next DLC comes out but I doubt it.

I am tempted to, I really am. However after spending nearly all game trying to romance (spoiler) and she barely talks to me. I'm not sure if I am ready for another playthrough even with DLC in mind. The DLC would have to feature the same companions but a more in depth interaction with them. (I would pay if they had more lines) Perhaps I will replay DAO orgins again.
Well, not being successful with a romance is not a deal breaker for me, by any means. Considering that I'm already thinking about a 2nd full playthru with a Warrior instead of a Mage, and am currently replaying the full Act 1 (wanted to re-do the loan option) then yes, bring on the DLC.
Keep in mind how much Awakenings added to DAO. Bioware may have made a habit of stretching a game's replay value to it's limit using DLC, but they certainly don't skimp on it. Just look at Mass Effect 2. The DLC easily increased the games play time by 30%.
Also, their DLC is (usually) less expensive than, say MW2 map pack for $15 that included 3 OLD maps.
I'd say if you like the game enough to consider alternate playthrus you're missing out if you DON'T get DLC.
*edit* I was assuming you were talking about *additional* DLC. I've already got the Exiled Prince. I'm thinking more about an expansion, a la Awakening.

So yeah, I will buy dlc if there are missions and such. I don't usually buy armor-packs since I don't really need them.

While I didn't think the game was the train wreck some said it was, I didn't like the direction they took with the franchise so I won't endorse it with my wallet.
