Hello,
playing DA:O again and leveling a 2handed warrior is pain, performing 2 styles drain the entire stamina pool and after that it's just autoattack :(

I tried looking through the dragonagenexus for a possible mod that reduces the stamina cost of styles but couldn't find any.
I also tried using a mod called "The Winter Forge" to increase stamina on my armors, however after trying to figure out how the mod works (for about 2 hours) I gave up.

Does anyone know a mod that does what I need? help appreciated.

If you find yourself in need of stamina, put a few points into Willpower. Also, when you get there, the Death Blow talent is a must-have. Also, sometimes certain armor grants a fatigue reduction, usually when worn as a complete set. This reduces the stamina cost of your talents. There are also weapons like the Nug Crusher that grant additional stamina.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any mods for this issue, since I haven't heard many people running into this problem. The closest would probably be the Awakening In The OC mod, which I believe allows you to have stamina draughts (normally restricted to the expansion) in the normal campaign. It does require you to have Awakening, though.

Thanks for the tips.
You are pointing me the right path while all I want to do is get an effortless, quick fix to my "problem".

Most advice and builds you see say to completely ignore willpower when you level up your character. If you want to min-max auto attack like with a rogue or dw warrior, sure. I find that boring however.

I like to actually use my abilities so I always put at least a few points in willpower regardless of class. This isn't an MMO where you're going to get kicked out of a raid because you lose 0.5% dps from your stat allocation. Upping your willpower to even just 20 and equipping some +stamina items (executioner's helm, wade's dragonbone set) will do wonders for your problem.

One last question: Should I use medium or heavy armor for 2handed? (with in mind to keep the fatigue cost low)

I generally equip my 2handers in massive armor, always in a full matching set. However, there is another excellent choice: Wade's Superior Dragonscale Armor set, with Evon the Great's Mail substituted for the chest piece. It's more or less the best heavy armor combination in the game due to retaining full set bonuses, including a -20% fatigue.

Well I can say is that BigBad is right, this armor set just kicks loads of ass. It's just that to get the Dragon Scale you have to slay that dragon before you go talk to the guardian. Brace yourself for it is a damn hard fight; just make sure to bring loads of poultices.

2-handed warriors IMO should use armors that offer the lowest fatigue penalties and provide stamina. Wades Light and Medium armors are great for that, however the Light protection causes you to get hit hard but let's be honest here, 2-handed warriors ain't tanks.

For the most part you will need to pump nothing but str, and maybe get 20 willpower. Usually the items you equip will give more than enough bonus to willpower + the fade attributes bonuses.

Death Blow is a must have and so is Powerful which reduces the penalties of wearing heavier armor.
I have a very deep stamina pool 455 total stamina at level 24, in my awakening game.

I'm using Wades Superior Dragonskin which is medium armor, my fatigue is like -24% with out any susstained abilities running. Summer Sword for my main weapon (Since my armor is medium I like the physical resistance.), Key to the City, Lifegiver, Spellward, and Andruils Blessing.

Stamina is an issue early on, but you need to manage your sustained abilities more sparingly early on. Like only use Indom, or Powerful swings when fighting power enemies and etc.

I'd go as far as even suggesting Leather Armour set if you have a tank set to taunt off you. Medium armour doesn't really offer that much more protection than light, especially later on in the game because light armour (I'm not sure why they decided to do this, I personally changed it myself) scales faster in armour value than medium, heavy or massive. I'd also add that in addition to Chainmail and Heavy Chainmail sets, Leather Armour (leather only, not studded etc) has a fatigue reduction set bonus as well.
