I don't know anything about Modding, so bear with me. How difficult would it be to change the elves in DAO to look like the elves in DA2?

From the bit I do know, adopting the bodies would be difficult, because wouldn't you have to resize all the armors onto the new body shapes and fix the animations?

You would definitely have to create a new head to base morphs from. Not sure how difficult that would be.

I asked in the other thread about successfully importing DA2 armors into DA:O, and I was told that it might be difficult to do the elves because the models still have to conform to the DA:O skeletons, and elves are just shaped differently.

New head morphs, new hairstyles, new bodies (including all armours) and new animations (since the bodies have different height) Ton of work, plus altering the head base to the point where the ears match DA2 elves appears to break the morph system and it no longer works.

Put it this way, it's enough work that DA2 didn't even include female dwarves and that's only half of what would need to be done.
