No games for them. :*-(
Don't be sad RinpocheSchnozberry.
I appreciate your concern but there are many options for players like myself. No need to worry.

People do have legitimate gripes with this game. If you look at the sales, they have dropped off significantly from the first to the second week for all platforms, but especially the PC.

Just like most other March releases?

But my question... and it's asked honestly... isn't that normal? I mean, all of the sales projections I see about video games are in terms of four to six months, not days or weeks. Don't video games, especially non-sports games, drop off after their "opening weekend" like movies do? I am curious for some context.
In Origins, all I did was use Blood Wound or Fireball. I played the game so much I can picture every encounter: enemies typically filter themselves from one location, my tank stands in their way, and my mage (or my Arcane Warrior, soloing the game) casts Blood Wound or Fireball on enemies that didn't have blood. Then I just let my party (or, again, myself if I was soloing) auto attack things to death, because anything else was unnecessary.DrGulag wrote...
Speak for yourself.
Hard difficulty and a 2H warrior. I changed it to casual during boss fights, because I didn't want to constantly mash for fifteen minutes. What tactics did this game require? You couldn't even do anything, because enemies would just keep on coming wave after wave. I gave orders to my companions, activated the abilities and mashed X. That's all it took.
You are right, only games released close to the holiday season have subsequent weeks increase in sales.

Sure. But we'll see in week 3 if these games drop by another 20-30 percent.

All three (360, PS3 and PC) dropped more than 25 percent in sales from the first to second week, with the PS3 dropping 38 percent, the PC dropping 26 percent and the 360 dropping 33 percent. While the PC's drop is less, it hasn't sold nearly as many units as the PS3 and 360.
We'll have to wait and see if this drops further in the third week, stabilizes or increases. I expect this game will die with Skyrim and other RPG's come out this summer/fall.

But you have to see it from the other side too, the people who come here and say they didn't like the game they bought and a lot of them actually explaining why are still getting flamed by others who liked it constantly trying to argue bits and bobs from every sentence typed in order to somehow force them into saying they liked it too. So shouldn't side with fans of the game when the same applied to people who didn't like it.
The main anger on these forums is not about who liked and disliked it, it's about how everyone talks to each other being aggressive making the other person defensive. Your post is aggressive so people are going to be defensive now, the vice versa applies too.

Yes, I understand your point. I'm just saying I honestly don't know if that's normal or not. Especially with all the pre-orders... which I assume most sales figures posted on various websites include in the first week's sales? Maybe that's not a fair assumtion.

True. I don't like DA2, but I don't hate it. I just hope this game doesn't tank so bad that DA3 is shelved or changed even more.

Bulletstorm: 60% drop off
Dissidia : 75% drop off
Fight Night Champion: 60% drop off

What's your point? I never compared DA2 to those games, none of which I liked.
