Hi, I see obviously everyone is having some sort of problem with this game. I recently bought Dragon Age 2 from amazon.com and did there digital download thing. I normally dont do this but it had the game for a cheaper price so i thought why not. Well, turns out it came with a price. I have the original Dragon Age game that i bought on PC-DVD and have never had one issue with it crashing, but whenevr I play Dragon Age 2 it ranges from 5 minutes to 20 that my screen will go grey, and my speaker makes an annoying constant noise and I am forced to shut down my computer and restart it. I have read several threads and people say they can just alt-tab and reopen the game, unfortuneatly i am unable to do so. My computer is good when it comes to hardware wise, runs crysis on high no problems along with battlefield 2, starcraft 2, and the original dragon age and my video card is not over heating at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice now and it still does the same thing. I have tried changing the graphics detail to high from very high because people said that might work, ive played it in window mode, ive made sure all my drivers are up to date. Anyone got any ideas how I can play it longer than 20 minutes without it crashing my computer?
Much appreciated Thanks.

Did you get the 11.4 preview drivers for your video card?

Yeah just did today...and it lasted about 20 minutes and it crashed again. I downloaded MSI AfterBurner to monitor my graphics card and its not overheating and everything seems to be fine with the amount of power being used.

Probably wouldn't hurt to monitor the rest of your system temps as well. CPUID HW monitor is good for that. Also, if you're using the Turbo boost function, or overclocking either your CPU or GPU, try it without it.
Finally, as a test, try playing a section you've tried before on the lowest graphics settings... I am not suggesting that's a solution, but it will be a good test.
