How is it possible that this thread has over three pages, almost all written by feline-fanciers, and NO ONE has pointed out the awesome healing powers of Sir-Pounce-A-Lot?!?

Did none of you supposed cat folk try having Anders pet him while engaged in combat? He can revive any fallen Party Members instantly! He always had a place on *my* Anders' Quickbar.

Only kitty focused DLC can redeem the game now. Perhaps retell Anders' story from Ser Pounce-a-lot's perspective.

My cat does not support this hate mongering. For years, she has been dealing with the fact that popular media tends to reflect the majority. She appreciates that a company like Bioware has been so progressive, adding cats in their games tentatively and in a less negative light than other popular media. Sir Pounce-A-Lot may have played a small part, but it was a big step for cat rights and acknowledgment.

There is a point when the argument "any publicity is good publicity" doesn't ring true and we need to see cats reflected more in a positive and normative light. Not all cats are devious and sneaky. Not all cats are fat and lazy and eat lasagna. It's been a long time since the Salem Witch Trials and other persecutions of felines throughout history yet we demonize them left and right.

My cat understands that equal representation will not come over night but baby steps will insure that the she will be represented in a fairer manner than in the past. She believes that David Gaider is a great man allowing cats in his game that are free of stereotypes, show good characterization, that aren't demonized, or placed on a pedestal due to their species-representation. Sir Pounce-A-Lot in an animal just like any other in Thedas.

Yes, GRX, there are guard cats.  I'm too lazy to link a post to support my claim - but my cats have chased off packs of big dogs, to protect me while I garden.  They are my little meo-nions.
My kittys luv Anders, so won't boycott Bioware.  Sorry - no solidarity from my household.

Bioware's poor decision to neglect this market will really hurt sales, especially with a game like this on the horizon

I find it doubtful that many cat owners will buy a game so lacking when there is such an awesome game coming up

My cats are not like that at all... except for my Himalayan, but she's a special breed.
My other cat, barn cat. He has thumbs, and he gives the OP a thumbs up.
My latest cat, she's a rescued stray. She's an attention w***e. Worse than a dog, I swear!

I support the cats in DA2 DLC cause. A simple mention from Anders is not enough!
