So from that perspective, yeah, Fenris is more like Batman.
Although, I personally think Fenris more like Wolverine.

Thane is not nearly tormented enough to be batman. To be Batman you have to be constantly tormented inside by guilt, insecurity and fear. Thane is too at peace with himself (not a bad thing, just not Batman).

Thane was the reason his wife died. Difference is Thane was better at keeping his self control around others. Imagine what it would be like to remember everything down to do the last moment you saw the person you lost. Or every shot. Batman is a master detective. Melee fighter and so on. I feel for Garrus but he isn't batman. No one in Dragon Age fits that card. Thane is the closest. Attacks from the shadows. Knows so many ways to kill about anything he comes across. He is Batman.

OK I'm convinced, Thane is batman. I can't even imagine what's like to remember everything, I'd be insane in a minute if I remembers everything in my ordinary life. But then again, maybe Drells has different mentality compare to human. They probably compartmentalize better.
[edit] Got me want to play Mass Effect 2 again.... Too bad you can't romance Thane as male shepard.

Garrus isn't Batman. Garrus works with a group. He's a commander a soldier. Closer to say Nick Fury or some other soldier than Batman. Batman works alone. Garrus doesn't work alone well and his focus is guns. Why Thane is better at the batman card. If you read his kill tactics. It's ways to kill about every single race with just his hands and no weapons at all. Garrus is Punisher to Thane's Batman.

Garrus went to the most run-down, grungiest, baddest place in the galaxy in order to clean it up personally. Very Batman. Batman was a leader too, he just prefers to have only one or two subordinates at a time.Torax wrote...

As for the guns.. Well, Thane's focus is the sniper rifle just the same. He may be -trained- in hand-to-hand, but so was Garrus. They both prefer rifles.
Thane isn't a vigilante, he's just a killer. He doesn't go taking on badguys all on his own because they deserve it, he just lets morality sway which jobs he chooses to take on, IIRC. Batman is all about the internal struggle, Thane doesn't let his personal feelings affect his work. I really see nothing Batman about him aside from his penchant for wearing black.

How is Garrus any different. He went to Omega to kill people who he thought deserved it. Also keep in mind that it's not like he was on some great crusade. He was trying to be Shepard. What he became was more of just a non profit mercenary. He worked with a team. Was only trapped alone by a team member. There is a stark difference between him and this template for a batman. Thane was a hitman for a race that is generally passive. He then went on a revenge strike for years taking out an entire gang of slavers. Neither are truly the Batman template. But for the mold? I think Thane fits it better. Though I like Garrus. He's just a shepard clone that was trying to be what his hero was.
