About sand and stuff.. I wouldn't mind sand. Hasn't been enough sand in RPG games.
Dragon Age 3 will certainly take place in ORLAIS... you know?

Ahah. The dragon age wiki has a geographical guide. No sand, but there are forests.
"Val Royeaux - Capital
Montsimmard - Home of the Orlesian Circle of Magi
Val Chevin
Val Foret
Val Firmin
Montfort
Arlesans
Ghislain
Churneau
Lydes
Verchiel
Halamshiral - Former capital of the Dalish Elves
Mont-de-glace
Jader - Nearest major Orlesian city to Ferelden"

Not particularly bothered about sand - its kinda boring, plus Tatooine in Kotor gave me more than enough RPG sand (did anyone else think that Lowtown looked a bit Tatooineish? And the Wounded coast reminded me a bit of Rakata Prime from Kotor)
I don't think its worth speculating about where DA3 will happen at this stage - there are so many unresolved storylines - Morrigan and the Old God Child, Flemeth, Ferelden at war with Orlais, Qunari invasion of Thedas (probs starting in Tevinter), the whole Mage v Chantry thing which could easily involve Orlais or Tevinter - all that stuff about the Dwarven idol etc which seems to bring in a load more Grey Warden stuff.
I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of snow though - still I'll probably have enough of that when Skyrim comes out

Then again when I discovered that Sandal was going to Orlais it did cross my mind that that might be the next setting...
Also, he is a tad annoying - preferred him in DAO

So if DA3 is set in Orlais, is everyone going to sound like Isolde?
